Retorten-Holzverkohlungs-Anlage.
Retort charring plant. The subject of the present invention is a retort charring system, which is characterized by the fact that the heating gases are routed through three rooms arranged one above the other, with at least one retort running on guideways being stored in the middle room, which opens through a door after the charring process has ended a second, pivotable guide track set up outside the furnace can be extended, which is arranged in such a way that
that the extended and pivoted retort assumes a position in which it lies in the axial direction of an elongated wooden container that is also pivoted and stored in the third space above the retort, so that its contents, which have been pre-dried by the heating gases, automatically fall into the tilted and emptied retort and the the newly filled retort can be returned to the furnace.
In order to avoid overheating of the retort, the wood gas that is formed is advantageously sucked off through an exhaustor at the rear end of the retort and fed to the wood vinegar and tar separators. The residual gas expediently arrives in a pipe coil arranged in the lowest heating room directly in front of the combustion chamber, where it is heated again and fed to the retort at the front end.
With this design of the system, the maximum possible utilization of the total heat expended and a complete yield of the by-products of the wood gas take place.
In the drawing, the system according to the invention is shown in one embodiment. It shows: Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section through the location and Fig. 2 is a cross section along the line A-A in Fig. 1 on a larger scale.
1 is the combustion chamber. and 2 the ash room. From the combustion chamber 1, the heating gases pass into the lowest heating chamber 3 arranged in front of the combustion chamber 1, from where they pass through openings 6 into the second heating chamber, the retort heating chamber 4, in which they heat the retort 8.
The residual heating gases pass through small openings 7 in the ceiling of the heating room 4 into the third heating room 5, in which the wood pre-drying container 31 is arranged, to which the residual heating gases give off their residual heat.
Fixed guide tracks 9 are installed in the retort space, on which the retort 8 runs with rollers 9 ″ attached to it. At the bottom of the retort 8, a toothed rack 10 is fastened, the ends of which protrude beyond the retort lids 11 and 12 End engages a pinion 15 ', wel Ches superimposed on a shaft 15 transversely to the retort ge and which is carried out from the retort chamber 4 ago, where it can be operated by a crank 15 ", whereby the retort is made and retracted becomes.
The front of the retort space 4 is closed by a door 13 to which a device 14 is attached, through which a spindle presses on the front retort cover 11 and thus the retort itself with its rear cover 12 presses against its support point, so that the cover close tightly. The retort 8 also has front and rear inlet and outlet ports 16 'and 17' for the residual gas, respectively. for the resulting wood gas.
These nozzles have external cones on which the passage heads 16 and 17 are placed by means of spindles which lead to handwheels 16 "and 17" located outside the retort space. Before the retort is extended, the heads 16 and 17 are lifted off the retorts 16 'and 17' by the handwheels 16 ″ and 17 ″ and pressed on again after the retort is retracted. To enable this measure, the lines connected to the heads 16 and 17 are articulated.
In front of the door of the re tortenraumes a fixed bracket 27 is angeord net, which carries the counter guide rails 9 ', which can be pivoted by a crank 29 via a gear 28 with the retort 8 extended until the retort is shown in phantom in FIG assumes the position shown in which the emptying of the retort into a trolley 30 takes place.
Through an exhaustor 19, the wood gases formed when the retort 8 is heated are sucked off via the head 17 through the pipe 18, then passed through the pipe 20 to the scrubber 21 and from there via the pipe 22 to the tar separator 23. The residual gases remaining there are fed through the pipe 24 into a coil 25, which is arranged in the heating room 3, and from there are heated again through the pipe 26 into the head 16 and thus back into the retort, where they transfer their heat to the discard wood to be charred.
In the third space 5, which is arranged above the retort space 4, the elongated fresh wood container 31 is arranged, which is supported at the front at 32 in a pivot point and at its rear end rests with a nose 34 on a hydraulic jack 33, for example, which, after actuation, the fresh wood container 31 in the dot-dash position to empty the meanwhile pre-dried wood into the retort 8, which was also emptied previously,
which lies in the pivoted position in the axial direction of the pivoted fresh wood container.
Instead of just one retort and just one fresh wood container, several can be arranged next to each other in the furnace.
