Description

Handsaw. The subject matter of the present invention is a hand saw with an exchangeable saw blade, one end of which is suspended from the saw bow. According to the invention, the other end of the saw blade is attached to the handle pivotably mounted on the saw bow. This handle has, in an expedient embodiment, a recess serving as a mounting point, such that when the handle is pivoted in the position of use, the mutual distance between the two mounting points of the saw blade is greater and the saw blade is thereby tensioned.

In the accompanying drawings, an example embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown schematically, and it shows: Fig.1 a hand saw in the use position of the handle, Fig.2 the same with pivoted handle and relaxed saw blade, Fig. 3 is a section along the line III- III in FIG. 1 on a larger scale, FIG. 4 a section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 1 on a larger scale, FIG. 5 a section along the line VV in FIG. 4 on a smaller scale.

As Fig. 1 shows, a saw blade 3 is suspended from replaceable on the front leg 1 of a saw bow 2. At the other leg 4 of the bow 2 is a handle 5, for example made of wood, metal or plastic, rotatably mounted. For this purpose, the nose 6 is seated pivotably on pins 7 which are attached to the leg 4. On the nose 6 a recess 8 serving as a suspension point is provided, in which the Bol zen 9 of the saw blade 3 is suspended when the handle 5 is pivoted. By pivoting the handle 5 in the direction of arrow I (Fig. 2) the saw blade 3 is tensioned because in the position of Fig. 1 (position of use) the Bol zen 9 is further away from the attachment point of the saw blade on the leg 1 than in the, Position according to Fig. 2.

The nose 9 'of the handle 5 is provided with a locking device. A bolt 11 rotatably and axially immovably mounted in a bore 10 engages over the leg 4 of the arch and secures it in the position of use through the handle. The locking device could for example also have a resilient snap. The shape of the handle could also be different than drawn; It is essential that the handle is attached to the bow in a pivotable and lockable manner, and that one end of the saw blade is mounted on it in such a way that the saw blade is tensioned when the handle is pivoted.

All possible types of handsaws, for example tree, wood or bone saws, can be provided with this clamping device.
