Tool holder for impact devices. The invention relates to a tool holder for portable mechanical impact devices, namely such a tool holder in which the impact tool is limited at least medium bar by a rubber buffer placed in a cap in its movement in the direction of impact.
According to the invention it is provided that the closure cap in the form of a cap includes two rubber rings, between which the angled edge of a cup-shaped retaining cap is clamped; against which the tool comes to rest at least indirectly with a stop.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the tool holder and Fig. 2 shows a plan view from above of the removed cap, while Fig. 3 shows an axial section through one of the two rubber rings. The tool holder is flanged with its housing 1 Ge on the in Fig. 1 sticb-dotted represents the housing 2 of the hammer mechanism. In the central bore of the housing 1, an insertion sleeve 3 is rotatable and can also be inserted axially displaceably within narrow limits.
This insertion sleeve has a square pin 4 with a special impact head b on which the impact bear hits. In addition, a ko African insertion opening 6 and a wedge driver hole 7 is provided in the insert sleeve. The axial movement of the plug-in sleeve is limited by a collar 8 provided at its tool-side end, which comes to rest against the face of the housing 1 when it moves against the hammer mechanism and is limited by a cup-shaped retaining cap 9 when it moves in the direction of impact.
This retaining cap 9 is embedded with an angled edge 10 between two rubber rings 11 and 12 which, together with the edge 10 and a washer 20, are clamped against a shoulder 14 of the tool housing 1 by a closure cap 13. The ring 12 is, measured in the axial direction, wider than the thickness measured in the radius direction.
In the device shown, the elasticity of the rubber rings 11 and 12 is used at the same time, the closure cap, which came like a bayonet lock with retaining lugs 15 in circumferential grooves 16 of the housing 1, under pretension in these grooves to hold and press it into a locking position. The cap 13 is pushed up with its lugs 15 through corresponding, not shown recesses on the housing 1 up to the level of the grooves 16 against the action of the rubber rings 11 and 12 and then rotated so that the lugs 15 engage in the aforementioned ring grooves 16 .
The cap 13 is secured against unwanted rotation by the fact that it has cutouts 17 in the lugs 15, which engage in corresponding projections 18 protruding into the grooves 16 under the effect of the elasticity of the rubber rings 11 and 12 when the cap 13 is in the corresponding position is rotated. The sum of the widths of the rings 11 and 12 and the thickness of the angled cup rim 10 is so dedicated that the rings are pretensioned when the cap 13 is attached.
In your signed embodiment, these lugs consist of solid cylinder bolts 18 which are inserted into corresponding radial bores of the housing 1 and protrude into the profile of the grooves 16.
One of the two rubber rings, namely the lower ring 12, measured in the vertical direction, has a significantly greater width than the ring 11. In addition, it is perforated by a large number of holes 19. This training of the ring 12 is intended to increase its elasticity.
