Die Adhäsion der Wandplattenoberfläche aus der vorzugsweise aus Gummi bestehen- den Polsterfläche der Versetzplatte kann in Verbindung mit der unter dem Einfluss des auf die Versetzplatte ausgeübten Druckes entstehenden Reibung so gross sein, dass man bis zwölf Wandplatten (15 X 15 cm) mit der Versetzplatte auf einmal an die Wand anreiben kann, ohne dass sich die Wand platten irgendwie gegeneinander verschieben;
Device for the simultaneous attachment of several wall panels using the adhesive method. The object of the present invention is a device for the simultaneous to bring several wall panels by the adhesive process and is characterized by a cooperating with a frame offset plate, which is provided with a flexible cushion for the support of the wall plates to be offset.
The resilient padding of the offset plate is intended to take on the task of the ball of the hand of the layer in the previous single plate offset method and has approximately the same elastic quality as the ball of the hand. It should make it possible to press the wall panels plastered with adhesive to the wall and, if necessary, to move them to the same to push out the excess adhesive laterally and through the joints and to set the panels in a correct manner.
The adhesion of the wall panel surface from the upholstered surface of the offset plate, which is preferably made of rubber, can be so great in connection with the friction generated by the pressure exerted on the offset plate that up to twelve wall plates (15 x 15 cm) can be placed on the offset plate can rub against the wall once without the wall panels shifting against each other in any way;
the offset plate is advantageously designed so that six wall plates can be placed in two rows next to each other on the same, and that as soon as the pressure exerted on the handle decreases and the friction disappears as a result, the offset plate can be easily removed in a lateral direction without the wall panels shifting.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the device according to the invention is shown, namely shows :.
1 shows a longitudinal section through an offset plate including frame and wall plates lying in between, FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line II-II of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows the frame and FIG. 4 shows the offset plate, each separately in plan, FIG. 4g a section along the lines IVa-IVa and FIG. 4b a section along the lines IVb-IV '> of FIG.
On the plate 1, which is expediently made of plywood or light metal, a flexible cushion 2, expediently made of sponge rubber, is preferably glued. Since the sponge rubber is very sensitive to mechanical effects, a protective layer 3, z. B. made of para rubber, which can be slightly grooved on the top to prevent the wall panels from sticking to the upholstery. The layer thicknesses of the two layers depend on the required flexibility of the cushion.
The strips, which are expediently made of metal, run around the plate 1, la, l b, le, I d. The strips 1 a and 1 b are in front of the level of the pad, while the strips I c and ld are set back from this level. The protruding edge of the strips l a, l b serves as a stop for the wall panels 4 to be offset, which are indicated in phantom in FIGS. 1 and 2.
It is advantageous to be able to exchange one of the protruding strips with the opposite, recessed strip; For this purpose, the two interchangeable bars are conveniently screwed to the plate 1 in an easily detachable manner. This makes the offset plate usable for right and left-hand use.
The offset plate still has a hand grip 5. A frame 6 of rectangular shape acts together with it; it is preferably formed from angle iron. Corresponding to the four wall panels to be moved at the same time, the free space enclosed by the frame 6 is divided into four fields I, 1I, 11I, IV by crossbars 6a, so that the crossbars 6a over the joints 4a of the underlying wall panels 4 come to rest.
The thickness of the crossbars 6 a and the leg of the angle iron frame lying in their plane corresponds to the layer thickness of the adhesive to be applied to the wall panels 4, so that the latter can be coated onto the crossbar thickness by means of a coating device.
The device is used as follows: The offset plate is well gela Gert at both ends with the cushion layer 2, 3 up and the handle 5 down. The wall panels 4 are then placed on the upholstery with the side that is visible after moving, each wall panel being separated from the other by one, by means of an intermediate layer, e.g. B. square matches, formed joint 4a is separated. All wall panels are now pushed tightly against the intermediate layers that form the joints and laterally against the protruding edges of the strips 1 a and 1 b.
Now the frame 6 is placed over the lying on the pad 3 wall plates 4 and the fields I, II, IH and IV are filled up to the level of the upper edge of the frame 6 with the adhesive. Then the frame 6 is removed and the offset plate with the be sensitive, coated with adhesive wall plates pressed against the wall by the bar 1 a respectively. 1 b when the offset plate is used upright, place the row on the upper edge of the already offset wall plate, with the offset plate held at an angle to the front, and then the offset plate with the wall plates hits the wall.
Now the offset plate is pulled off the side, the wall plates 4 stick to the wall. The lower bar 1 b respectively. 1 a makes it easier to maintain the joint spacing from the wall plate that is already on the wall.
While the laying person is still adjusting the wall panels, the unskilled worker can garnish and fill in a second offset panel.
If the adhesive used allows the panels that are pressed against the wall to be moved later, the wall panels can be placed on the offset panel, butted close together, without intermediate layers. The joints are made in this case by pulling apart the panels sticking to the wall and inserting intermediate layers.
Of course, unglazed wall panels, glass panels, panels made from 1VI mosaic tiles glued to paper and other flat construction elements of uniform thickness and relatively small format can be added to walls and ceilings with the use of appropriate adhesives.
