Description

Das Be streben,

Radiators, especially made of aluminum. The invention relates to a radiator, in particular made of aluminum, with a large proportion of heat emission by radiation and consists in that at least part of the surface facing the room is anodically oxidized. The anodically oxidized surface can optionally be colored.

Because of its lightness, cheapness and air resistance, aluminum is a good building material for heat exchangers, especially radiators. One disadvantage is the low radiation number of the metallic aluminum, which is why aluminum paints are used to reduce solar radiation on roofs, etc. with success.

This disadvantage can now be countered by the so-called anodic oxidation of the aluminum surface, which gives it a very high radiation number and at the same time becomes even less sensitive to atmospheric influences. According to measurements carried out, the number of radiation can be increased to over -90% of the absolute black 1I @ i I radiation, which increases the efficiency of heat exchangers, which give off a larger proportion of the heat through radiation. The effort,

Increasing the amount of radiation is being pursued intensively, especially in radiator construction.

Since the anodically oxidized surface can also be easily colored, it also provides a means of providing the white surface of aluminum radiators with any desired color, which is also very durable because it is anodic oxidized aluminum surface is spongy and absorbs certain colors very intensively.

Instead of part of the surface facing the room, the entire surface, even inside and outside, of the heating element can be anodically oxidized.
