Description

  

  Schleifkörper.    Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist  ein Schleifkörper mit Bindemittel. Erfin  dungsgemäss weist das     Bindemittel    Metall  pulver auf. Schleifkörper, z. B. Schleifschei  ben, die mit     Kunstharz    als     Bindemittel    und  solche die mit organischen     Bindemitteln    her  gestellt werden, erhalten, wenn diesem       Bindemittel    Metallpulver, z. B. feinstes     Alu-          miniumpulver    zugeführt     wird,        eine    grössere  Festigkeit. Beim Schleifvorgang brechen die  Ränder solcher Schleifkörper weniger leicht  aus.

   Bei Verwendung des Metallpulvers bei  keramisch     verbundenen    Schleifkörpern wird  erreicht, dass das eigentliche     Schleifmittel     einen besseren Halt im Träger hat. Die Bin  dung ist vollkommener. Ein weiterer     Vorteil     besteht darin, dass die Arbeiter, welche mit  solchen Schleifkörpern arbeiten müssen, der  Gefahr der     Silicose    nicht ausgesetzt     sind.    Es  wurde die     Wahrnehmung    gemacht, dass der  Staub des     Schleifkornes,    sowie der Staub des  keramischen     Bindemittels,    wenn mit Metall  staub versetzt, in der Lunge des     Menschen     keine nachteiligen Erscheinungen zeitigt.

      Als Metallpulver     wird    vorzugsweise     Alu-          minium    oder eine     Aluminiumlegierung    in  Pulverform     verwendet.    Das Pulver     wird     zweckmässig möglichst in feinem Zustand bei  der Herstellung des Schleifkörpers beige  fügt.  



  Statt     Aluminium    könnten auch andere  Metalle Verwendung finden.  



  Neben organischen,     können    auch an  organische     Bindemittel,    z. B. mineralische,  wie Wasserglas, zur Verwendung gelangen.

      The metal powder used is preferably aluminum or an aluminum alloy in powder form. The powder is expediently added in a fine state as possible during the manufacture of the grinding wheel.



  Instead of aluminum, other metals could also be used.
