Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes.    Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kon  densationsproduktes, dadurch gekennzeichnet,       dass    man     5-Ohlorniethyl-2-oxy-benzoesäLii,e     mit     Octadecyl-p-toluidin    umsetzt. Die neue  Verbindung bildet als     Natriumsalz    ein hell  gelbes, in heissem Wasser klar lösliches Pul  ver mit stark     substantiveu    Eigenschaften.  Sie eignet sich als     Weichmachungsmittel    für  Kunstseiden aller Art und kann gleichzeitig  mit Direktfarbstoffen im Färbebad verwendet  werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>90</B> Teile     Octadecyl-p-toluidin    werden in       360    Teilen Chlorbenzol gelöst und<B>52</B> Teile  <B>5 -</B>     Ohlormethyl   <B>-</B> 2<B>-</B>     oxy   <B>-</B>     benzoesäure        98        %ig     dazu gegeben. Man erhitzt 24 Stunden zum  Sieden und treibt nach beendigter Konden  sation das Chlorbenzol mit Wasserdampf ab.

    Der     Destillationsrückstand    wird in verdünn-         ter    Lauge neutral gelöst, die Lösung erkalten  gelassen, das     Natriumsalz    der gebildeten       Carbonsäure        mit        15        %        Kochsalz        ausgefällt,          abfiltriert    und getrocknet. Das Enderzeugnis  ist ein hellgelbes Pulver, welches in heissem  Wasser klar löslich ist.

  <I> Example: </I> <B> 90 </B> parts of octadecyl-p-toluidine are dissolved in 360 parts of chlorobenzene and <B> 52 </B> parts of <B> 5 - </B> Ohlomethyl < B> - </B> 2 <B> - </B> oxy <B> - </B> benzoic acid 98% added. The mixture is heated to boiling for 24 hours and, after the condensation has ended, the chlorobenzene is driven off with steam.

    The distillation residue is dissolved neutrally in dilute lye, the solution is allowed to cool, the sodium salt of the carboxylic acid formed is precipitated with 15% sodium chloride, filtered off and dried. The end product is a light yellow powder, which is clearly soluble in hot water.

<B>PATENTANSPRUCH:</B> Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Konden sationsproduktes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 5-Ohlormethyl-2-oxy-benzoesäure mit Oetadecyl-p-toluidin umsetzt. Die neue Verbindung bildet als Natriumsalz ein hell gelbes, in heissem Wasser klar lösliches Pul ver mit stark substantiven Eigenschaften. Sie eignet sich als Weichmachungsmittel für Kunstseiden aller Art und kann gleichzeitig mit Direktfarbstoffen im Färbebad verwen det werden.
