Method for rolling the pivots of a timepiece and machine for implementing the method In the rolling machines known until now, the parts to be rolled are generally placed, by hand or mechanically, in a notch a support, after which one or two grinding wheels are moved to make them act on the part. This way of proceeding requires a lot of handling and therefore does not lend itself to rapid work in large series.
The present invention aims to remedy this drawback. Its objects are, on the one hand, a method for rolling the pivots of a timepiece mobile, and, on the other hand, a machine for implementing this method.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that at least one grinding wheel is used which remains constantly in the working position and a rotating drive disc with fixed axis intended to impart to the mobile a rotational movement about its axis, the arrangement being such that the mobile is already trained before the grindstone acts on it, and in that the yivots of the mobile are rolled "in passing", that is to say that the mobile is held tangentially in front of the wheel, it is moved slowly during rolling, then it is released from its grip with the wheel and ejected.
The machine for implementing the aforementioned process is characterized in that it comprises at least one grinding wheel mounted so as to remain constantly in the working position, a rotary drive disc with a fixed axis, intended to communicate to the mobile a rotational movement around its axis, and a movable part door arranged? so as to present the mobile tangentially in front of the grinding wheel.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the machine and illustrates an implementation of the process according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a front elevation view of this form of execution.
Fig. 2 is a top view with the trailing disc removed.

As a part 20 engages the grinding wheels 8, it presents a slight excess thickness so that it pushes the grinding wheels back slightly 89 in the face of the action. return springs 15. The rods 12 therefore momentarily leave the studs 14.
The springs 15 then return the grindstones 8, during rolling, to their original position, in which the rods 12 touch the studs 14, which. at the same time determines the final dimensions of the rolled part 20.
The number of notches 19 of the disc 16 is preferably large enough to allow continuous operation of the machine. By providing a disc 16 of sufficiently large diameter and provided, for example, with 10 to 16 notches 19, it is ensured that the parts 20 remain in their notches 19 during the displacement of the disc 16.
Instead of the rotary support 16, one could use a piece holder constituted for example by an endless belt, forced è to follow a determined path, of any shape.
According to a variant, one could ntemployer only one grinding wheel.
