Headlights for street lighting on vehicles, in particular on motor vehicles. The invention relates to a headlight fer for street lighting on vehicles, especially on motor vehicles, with a reflector, on the bulb of which a device for dimming and for Lichtver distribution is arranged directly, the device covering the bulb at the front and top.
Compared to known headlights, the invention is characterized by a mounted in the upper part of the device, out of the surrounding cover tend, reflector-like-acting expression, which throws a light beam onto the lower half of the reflector and from there to the front.
The accompanying drawing shows, for example, embodiments of the subject of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a side view of an incandescent lamp with a dimming device attached to it, FIG. 2 is a front view according to FIG. 1; Figure 3 is a top plan view of Figure 1;
Figure 4 is a vertical section through the masking device of Figure 1; Fig. 5 is a view in the direction of the arrow direction of Fig. 1; 6 shows a section through a headlight and its concave mirror with the incandescent lamp and the device in a view, and FIG. 7 shows the headlight in the assembled state;
8 to 12 show a second embodiment of the dimming device, namely: FIG. 8 shows a side view, FIG. 9 shows a front view, FIG. 10 shows a bottom view, FIG. 11 shows a section along line XI-XI in FIG. 10 and FIG. 12 shows a section along line XII-XII in FIG. 11;
13 to 17 show a third Ausfüh tion of the dimming device, namely through Fig. 13 in side view, Fig. 14 in front view, Fig. 15 in bottom view, Fig. 16 in section along line XVI-XVI in Fig. 15, and through FIG. 17 in section along line XVII to XVII in FIG. 16.
The dimming device of the headlamps according to Figures 1 to 7 consists essentially union of three related parts; one of these is gebil det by a part of the forward light rays of the incandescent lamp shielding front cap, which consists mainly of the bulge 1, which BEZW the front part of the incandescent lamp. whose glass body 10 is approximately adapted. The black cap is delimited at its lower edge up to a certain height by a rib 2, this part of the cap 1, in contrast to its upper part, being arranged more backwards towards the incandescent lamp cap 11.
A second of the three mentioned parts consists of a flat shield 3, which also shields the light bulb towards the front and frames the cap 1 upwards and on both sides to over the center downwards. The upper, approximately -waagrecht ver running end of the shield is used to fasten the horizontal cover 6, wäh rend on the two lateral, outer edges of the shield strip-shaped, bent obliquely forward and approximately the height of the shield corresponding blind 4 are arranged.
These lateral dimming wings 4 are delimited at their lower ends by ribs 5 which merge into ribs 2.
The third of the three parts mentioned is formed by shielding the light rays of the incandescent lamp towards the top, wel che contains the following parts: a flat cover 6, which extends horizontally to its rear end, where it is bent downwards, and the rear edge 7 of which is adapted to the shape of the incandescent lamp base 11, as well as a bulge B protruding from the cover and entering it from below.
To attach the dimming device to the light bulb, a coil spring 9 is provided, which is attached to the two lower parts of the rounding 7 and so slipped over the bulb base 11 who can. The curvature 1, which is adapted to the shape of the light bulb, and the horizontal cover 6 are also used to fasten the device.
The inner surface of the Abblendvori-ichturig is fully or partially designed to be reflective, e.g. B. by a mirror coating.
Through the lateral, obliquely forward-facing anti-glare panels 4, which at the bottom through the into the rib \? transitional Rip pen 5 are limited, direct rays of the light source are captured and thrown to the lateral rear and the lower parts of the reflector surface, from where they are thrown as reflected light rays on the road.
The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 8 to 12 differs from the previously described essentially in that the front cap 1 and the upper cover 6, which extends approximately to the horizontal central plane, form a common hood which extends through the edges 2 'and 5' to the rear respectively. is limited below. 'With 8 the expression is again referred to.
The hood is pushed onto the incandescent lamp and secured in its position by means of the clamp 9 ', which encompasses the base 11 and is screwed together with the former. On the front cap 1 two side wings 12 are provided, behind which slots 13 (Fig. 12) be found. Direct rays passing through these slits 13 fall on the rear of the wings 12, from which they are reflected laterally and backwards against the reflector, which throws them laterally forward; this increases the width of the light beam.
The embodiment according to FIGS. 13 to 17 corresponds, - vas the. Shielding to the front is concerned, the first embodiment example by. the same through the cap 1, the flat shield 3 and the wings 4 is gebil det. The upper cover 6 'is designed in the shape of a hood, but it is largely separated from part 1 by incisions. The attachment of the dimming device he follows in this case on the lamp base through the collar-shaped part 9 of the upper cover and the screwed with the former brident part 9 '.
The cover 6 'is provided with the imprint 8 formed like a reflector.
The above-described embodiments create a headlamp which causes the light to be distributed as evenly as possible on a partial reflector surface, the light density being appropriately dimensioned so that glare is prevented, but the best possible light yield, i.e. H.
adequate lighting of the roadway is achieved. The declared embodiments of the headlamp allow a collected light beam of high light intensity to be directed onto a surface of the reflector deep below the eye level, so that the light reflected from this surface cannot dazzle and yet sufficient exposure of the roadway to be illuminated is achieved.
