Description

  

  Kraftfahrzeugbremse mit mindestens zwei in einer einzigen Bremstrommel  axial nebeneinanderliegenden Bremsbackensätzen.    Zur Erzielung hoher Bremskräfte werden  sehr breite Bremstrommeln verwendet, die den  Nachteil haben, dass sie durch Erwärmung  eine schwach konische Form annehmen. Für  eine möglichst gleichmässige Anlage der Brems  backen wurden diese in axialer Richtung in  zwei nebeneinanderliegende Sätze aufgeteilt  und von einem gemeinsamen Bremsschlüssel  zwangläufig betätigt. Die durch die Wärme  ausdehnung der Bremstrommel bedingte, un  gleiche Anlage der Bremsbacken wurde hier  durch jedoch nicht vermieden.  



  Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kraftfahrzeug  bremse mit mindestens zwei in einer einzigen  Bremstrommel axial nebeneinanderliegenden  Bremsbackensätzen, deren Spreizglieder über  eine Hohlwelle bezw. eine die Hohlwelle  durchsetzende Vollwelle an ein einziges ausser  halb der Bremstrommel liegendes Bedienungs  organ angeschlossen sind, und besteht darin,  dass ein zur Erzielung einer gewissen Unab-    hängigkeit in der Spreizung der verschiedenen  Spreizglieder nachgiebiges Übertragungsorgan  zwischen diesen und dem Bedienungsorgan  vorgesehen ist.  



  Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsge  genstand beispielsweise veranschaulicht, und  zwar zeigt  Fig. 1 die Bremse im Aufriss und  Fig. 2 im Seitenriss, teilweise geschnitten.  Auf der Zeichnung bedeutet 1 eine aussen  mit Kühlrippen versehene Bremstrommel  eines schweren Kraftfahrzeuges, die mit einem  nicht dargestellten Laufrad starr verbunden  ist. Der Innenraum der Bremstrommel ist  durch eine am Achsgehäuse 2 starr ange  brachte Ringscheibe 3 aufgeteilt. Die Ring  scheibe trägt auf beiden Seiten Zapfen 4,  die Schwenklager für die Bremsbacken bilden,  von denen je zwei den Bremsbackensatz 5  und den     Bremsbackensatz    6 bilden. Die Brems  backen sind mit einem Bremsbelag 7 versehen.

        Zwischen den freien Enden der     Bremsbachen     des Satzes 5 liegt ein Spreizorgan 8 und  zwischen den Bremsbacken des Satzes 6 ein  Spreizorgan 9. Das Spreizorgan 8 sitzt auf  dem Ende einer Hohlwelle 10, die aus der  Bremstrommel 1 herausragt und deren An  schlussende von einem Bremshebel 11 erfasst  wird. Das Spreizorgan 9 sitzt auf dem Ende  eines von einer abgesetzten Vollwelle gebil  deten Drehstabes 12, der die Ringscheibe 3,  das     Spreizorgan    8 und die Hohlwelle 10  durchsetzt und dessen Anschlussende in eine  am Achsgehäuse 2 befestigte Buchse 13 ein  greift. Der Drehstab 12 ist an diesem Ende  mit Hilfe einer Kerbverzahnung 14 mit dem  Ende der Hohlwelle 10 gekuppelt. Die Brems  backen eines jeden Bremsbackensatzes stehen  unter der Wirkung von Zugfedern 15.  



  Die Wirkungsweise der Bremse ist fol  gende:  Durch Drehung des Bremshebels 11  werden die Spreizorgane 8 und 9 verstellt  und damit die Bremsbachen der beiden Brems  backensätze 5 und 6 von innen gegen die  Bremstrommel 1 gedrückt. Dadurch, dass die  beiden Spreizorgane 8 und 9 über den Dreh  stab 12 miteinander gekuppelt sind, kann  das Spreizorgan 8 eine grössere Verdrehung    als das Spreizorgan 9 ausführen, sofern in  folge Erwärmung der Bremstrommel eine  zusätzliche     Spreizung    der Bremsbachen des  Bremsbackensatzes 5 erforderlich wird.

  The invention relates to a motor vehicle brake with at least two axially juxtaposed brake shoe sets in a single brake drum, the spreading members BEZW via a hollow shaft. a solid shaft penetrating the hollow shaft are connected to a single operating organ located outside the brake drum, and consists in that a flexible transmission element is provided between these and the operating organ to achieve a certain independence in the spreading of the various expansion members.



  In the drawing, the subject of the invention is illustrated, for example, namely, Fig. 1 shows the brake in elevation and Fig. 2 in side elevation, partially in section. In the drawing, 1 denotes a brake drum of a heavy motor vehicle which is provided on the outside with cooling fins and which is rigidly connected to an impeller, not shown. The interior of the brake drum is divided by a washer 3 attached rigidly to the axle housing 2. The ring disc carries pins 4 on both sides, which form pivot bearings for the brake shoes, two of which form the brake shoe set 5 and the brake shoe set 6. The brake shoes are provided with a brake lining 7.

        Between the free ends of the brake jaws of set 5 there is a spreader 8 and between the brake shoes of set 6 a spreader 9. The spreader 8 sits on the end of a hollow shaft 10 which protrudes from the brake drum 1 and whose connecting end is detected by a brake lever 11 becomes. The spreader 9 sits on the end of an offset solid shaft gebil Deten torsion bar 12, which penetrates the washer 3, the spreader 8 and the hollow shaft 10 and whose connection end engages in a socket 13 attached to the axle housing 2. The torsion bar 12 is coupled to the end of the hollow shaft 10 at this end with the aid of serrations 14. The brake shoes of each brake shoe set are under the action of tension springs 15.



  The operation of the brake is fol lowing: By turning the brake lever 11, the spreaders 8 and 9 are adjusted and thus the brake jaws of the two brake jaw sets 5 and 6 are pressed against the brake drum 1 from the inside. Because the two spreaders 8 and 9 are coupled to one another via the rotary rod 12, the spreader 8 can perform a greater rotation than the spreader 9 if, as a result of the heating of the brake drum, an additional spreading of the brake jaws of the brake shoe set 5 is required.
