Device to prevent jet separation in turbo compressors. In turbo-compressors, in particular axial blowers, the running and guide vanes of which have airfoil profiles, the known detachment of the boundary layer occurs on the outer and inner delimitation of the conveying channels. The detachment of the flowing medium from the channel walls is a consequence of the losses,
the two conversion of the velocity energy into pressure energy through friction and vortex formation of the movement of the boundary layer, which is delayed to a zero value. As a result of the jet separation, the pressure ratio that can be achieved in one stage of the compressor is limited to a value of around 1.25. A relatively large number of compression stages and therefore a large overall length of the compressor are required to achieve a certain delivery rate. Furthermore, very large shaft diameters are also necessary if the compressor is to be operated at high speeds despite the critical speed, which is reduced due to the large overall length.
The relatively large space and weight requirements are very disadvantageous, especially in the case of portable systems.
In order to avoid these deficiencies, it is proposed that the beam separation of the boundary layer be prevented by suction, similar to the suction attempted on the wings of aircraft.
For this purpose, it is proposed according to the invention to provide suction channels running parallel to the conveying channels, which connect zones of higher pressure with those of lower pressure. For example, you can bezw a connection between the gap on the A side of the conveyor in the impeller and the gap on the exit side. create with a zone in between.
The same arrangement can also be made with regard to the guide wheels of axial compressors and the guide apparatus of radial compressors. In this way, the energetic, essentially laminar flowing parts of the boundary layer, which give rise to detachment, are sucked off.
The higher static pressure of the extracted conveying means is used at the same time to accelerate and / or accelerate the boundary layer at the re-introduction point. an energy exchange with the core flow. As a result, the pressure ratio that can be achieved in one stage can be increased from the above value of 1.25 to about 1.35 to 1.40, which results in a reduction in the number of stages of the compressor and significant advantages in terms of space and weight he can be obtained.
In the drawing, various exemplary embodiments of the inventive concept are shown.
According to Fig. 1, the impeller 1 is seen near the blade root with bores 3, which establish a connection between the gap 4 on the inlet side and the gap 5 on the outlet side of the conveyor channels 8 enclosed by the blades 6 and the outer housing 7. Part of the conveying means is sucked off through these channels on the outlet side as a result of the lower pressure prevailing on the inlet side and fed back to the conveyed means through the appropriately nozzle-shaped opening 9, which is inclined to the flow direction.
The boundary layer is accelerated at the end of the conveyor channel as a result of the pressure drop entering up to the suction point and the remaining overpressure at the injection point to accelerate BEZW. Turbulence of the boundary layer used.
Fig. 2 shows the arrangement of corresponding suction ducts 13 in the housing 7 delimiting the impeller 1 on the outside. The mouths 9 'are designed in the same way diisen-shaped on the inlet side of the conveying duct 8 enclosed by the blades. In Figs. 3, 4 and 5, the arrangement of provided in the wheel disc 1 from suction channels 11 is shown, the suction openings in the feed channel 8 of the running wheel. The suction channels 11 are bores or seat braids that are connected to the radially introduced suction openings 13 in Ver. The suction openings 12 are preferably placed at the point at which separation of the boundary layer is to be expected.
Fig. 5 shows the arrangement of the suction channel in an impeller, wel Ches is formed from blades 14 and the wheel disk 1. Die Aussaaugekanals 1 bzw. Here, the blade root between the blades has a cutout 15 which is connected through the cavity 16 and the bore 17 to the gap 4 on the inlet side.
In Fig. 6 a device is shown, which makes it possible to suck back part of the compressed agent both directly from the conveyor channel 8 of the impeller enclosed by the blades 6 and from the outlet side of the impeller to the inlet side. For this purpose, channels 3, which connect the two wheel sides with each other, and channels 11, which are in communication with the suction opening 12 provided in the conveying channel, are seen in front.
Fig. 7 shows the double arrangement of the suction channels on both the inner and the outer channel boundary. The suction is effected through the channels 3 and 11 provided in the running wheel 1 and the channels 13 and 1.8 arranged in the housing 7. The channel 18 is connected to the conveying channel 8 in a similar way as the channel 11 through an opening? 0 located within the conveying channel 8.
The suction ducts can, as described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7 for the impellers, also be arranged at the guide wheels of the compressor. This is shown in Fig. B. Here, the guide wheels 22, 23 are designed in such a way that part of the compacted medium from the outlet side through the gap 4, the channel 24 and the gap 5 is transferred to the conveying means on the inlet side of the guide device is fed back.
In the outer boundary 25 of the conveying channel enclosed by the guide vanes 26, suction through the channel 27 can also be brought about.
In Fig. 9, an axial compressor is shown, in which the suction is carried out both within the blades 6 delimiting the conveying channel and within the guide blades 26. The formation and arrangement of the channels can, however, also take place in the same or similar manner as in the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 7 with adaptation to the respective formation of the diffuser and the wheel disks.
As Fig. 10 shows, the suction can also be used advantageously in radial compressors by equipping the diffuser 30 with suction channels 31, 32 which connect the suction openings 34 in the guide channel 35 to the inlet side of the diffuser. Such a design makes it possible to significantly reduce the outer diameter of the housing.
