Description
Verbrennungsmotor mit Ölkühler. Verbrennungsmotoren im Heckteil von Motorfahrzeugen bieten hinsichtlich der Küh lung viele Schwierigkeiten. Deshalb wurde schon vorgeschlagen, auch das durch den Motor kreisende<B>Öl</B> besonders zu kühlen, so dass auch auf diese Weise eine teilweise Wärmeableitung erzielt wird. Zu diesem Zwecke wurden wabenförinige oder ähnliche Kühler an verschiedenen Stellen der Karos serie angeordnet, wo sie dem Frischluftstrom ausgesetzt sind. Diese Anordnung hat jedoch den Nachteil, dass zwischen dem Kühler und dem Motor Verbindungsleitungen angeordnet sein müssen, die wegen der Erschütterungen des Wagens während der Fahrt schwer dicht zu halten sind.
Gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung soll dieser Mangel dadurch beseitigt werden, dass der Kühler als unten an das Motorgehäuse angeschlossener, dieses erweiternder wannen artiger Behälter ausgebildet ist.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs gegenstandes ist auf der Zeichnung in Fig. <B>1</B> im Vertikalschnitt Und in Fig. 2 im Hori zontalschnitt schematisch veranschaulicht.
An das Motorgebäuse <B>1</B> ist unten ein dieses erweiternder wannenartiger Behälter 2 angeschlossen, der im Innern durch Zwischen wände<B>3</B> in Umlaufkanäle 4 geteilt und an der dem Luftstrom ausgesetzten Unterseite mit Kühlrippen<B>5</B> versehen ist. Die äussersten Kanäle münden in den gemeinsamen Sammler <B>6,</B> aus welchem das<B>01</B> unmittelbar in die Lager gepumpt wird. Zweckmässig ist dieser Behälter aus Leichtmetall ausgeführt, so dass das Gewicht des Motors durch den Behälter nicht wesentlich vergrössert und zugleich eine bessere Wärmeableitung erzielt wird.
Form und Querschnitt des Kühlbehälters für das<B>Öl</B> richten sich nach der Art und Anordnung des Motors.

However, this arrangement has the disadvantage that connecting lines must be arranged between the radiator and the engine, which are difficult to keep tight because of the vibrations of the car while driving.
According to the present invention, this deficiency is to be eliminated in that the cooler is designed as a tub-like container that is connected to the bottom of the motor housing and widening it.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated schematically in the drawing in FIG. 1 in vertical section and in FIG. 2 in hori zontal section.
At the bottom of the motor housing <B> 1 </B> there is connected a trough-like container 2 which expands this and which is divided into circulation channels 4 inside by partition walls <B> 3 </B> and with cooling ribs on the underside exposed to the air flow > 5 </B> is provided. The outermost channels open into the common collector <B> 6 </B> from which the <B> 01 </B> is pumped directly into the warehouse. This container is expediently made of light metal, so that the weight of the motor is not significantly increased by the container and, at the same time, better heat dissipation is achieved.
The shape and cross section of the cooling container for the <B> oil </B> depend on the type and arrangement of the engine.
