Description
Device for securing the housing of an oil burner that accommodates the motor. In oil burners it is known to attach the housing receiving the engine by means of a hinge on the rear wall of the combustion chamber so that it can be swiveled out. This arrangement has the disadvantage that often when the burner is used, in a certain case this housing cannot be swiveled out, or only inadequately, due to the lack of space to the relevant side.
According to the invention, this problem is remedied by the fact that the housing accommodating the engine is articulated by means of two hinge kidneys on a part firmly connected to the rear wall of the combustion chamber, each of which hinges has a pull-out pin.
In this way, it is possible to leave those of the pins for pivoting in the hinge, which results in the more suitable pivoting direction of the housing receiving the motor. This arrangement has the particular advantage that the motor housing can be removed in a simple manner by loosening both hinge pins.
The drawing shows an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention, FIG. 1 showing the burner and part of the combustion chamber partly in section along the line I-I in FIG. 2 and FIG. 2, the burner with hinges in view.
The motor mounted in the housing 1 drives the combustion air fan 2 and the one on the same shaft 3 rotates the atomizer 4. The ignition spiral 6 is used to ignite the fuel oil supplied through a pipe 5. The connection of the pipe 5 and the spiral 6 to the outside is not shown in greater detail in the drawing. The housing 1 is fastened by means of two hinges to the base 7, which in turn is fastened to the rear wall 8 of the combustion chamber.
On the base 7 according to Fig. 2 left and right tabs 9 are provided, between wel chen the tabs 10 of the housing 1 einrei fen. The tabs 9 and 10 are connected to hinges by bolts 11. It is easy to see that you can use either one of the pins 11 as a hinge joint in this arrangement, and thus the housing 1 accommodating the motor can also optionally pivot to each of the two sides. By removing both pins 11, the housing 1 can be removed in the simplest way.
