Description
Roof covering made of panels. - The subject of the invention is a roof covering consisting of panels. Which are the 'butt joints of the adjacent cladding panels are covered with cover rails, each provided with at least one downwardly protruding, perforated part, in whose perforations anchoring devices for the cover rail engage.
The drawing illustrates in the individual figures, in cross section, one exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
In the example according to FIG. 1, the panels 3 made of glass for the roof cladding are used for storage of angle iron pairs 1. The angle irons of each angle iron pair are mutually suitable, e.g.
B. with means of spacer rivets, connected and together form a purlin. The panels 3 are, with the interposition of a thin sealing layer '2, placed on the angle iron in such a way that the table ends are roughly flush with the inner surfaces of the angle iron: The fairly wide butt joint between each:
two adjacent panels 3 is covered with a corner rail 4, which has a rib 5 provided with holes @ 6 at certain intervals. The cover rail 4 is elastically and watertightly supported on the two opposite ends of the panel by means of an insulating intermediate layer 7. Loops 8 made of wire, wire cable or other suitable material, into which loops the hooks -9 are suspended from below, are inserted through the holes 6 in the cover rail rib 5.
The lower end of the hooks 9 are threaded with a nut 10, 10, and attached to a resilient strip 11 of sheet steel or other suitable material which grips over the lower end of the angle iron pairs. The elastic strip 11 is provided at both ends with beads, notches or similar projections 12, over which a sheet metal channel 13, which has protruding parts 13 'serving to catch the condensation water, engages, so that the sheet metal channel passes through the beads will hold.
The channel 13 with the protruding parts 13 'can be easily removed for cleaning and can be reattached by simply sliding it on. By tightening the screw nut 10, the wire cable 8 can be tensioned and here pressed against the sealing intermediate layers 7 by the cover rail 4. The pressure is transferred to the ends of panel 3 and the lower intermediate layer 2, which not only ensures that the roof covering is well sealed in the sensitive joints, but also that all components are held together firmly.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs. 1 in that the two ends of the adjacent panels 3 are provided with a continuous bead 3 'and that the cover rail -1 also has two beads 4' on both sides, between which a lead-covered jute knit 7 'or one. other sealing material is retained.
Through: the interlocking: of the beads 3 'and 4', the immovability of the cover rail and the roofing panels is guaranteed. In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the roofing panels 3 each have two beads 3 ', between which a sealing body 7' is located. The cover rail 4 is completely smooth on the L, underside.
