Würde der Koffer um etwa<B>900</B> nach links gedreht, so würde wiederum die Aus mündung<I>p</I> des Ölrücklaufkanals <I>k</I> im Auge b den sich nunmehr einstellenden überragen;
Encapsulated gear with circulating oil, in particular for portable cinema equipment. Gear for cinema equipment with circulating oil for the purpose of lubricating the acbs bearings are known. With this type of lubrication, the oil is generally guided in such a way that the oil is first conveyed to a highest point by a small pump or in some other suitable manner and then flows from there to the bearings under the action of gravity. The most important task is to ensure that no oil gets on the film tape and makes it unusable.
The gear unit is therefore completely encapsulated in a housing from which the axles for the transport rollers and the drive protrude, so that the oil cannot escape through the axle openings, a splash ring is attached in front of the breakthrough on the relevant axle , which throws the oil off into a small oil trap. Channels lead from the oil collecting chamber back into the interior of the housing so that the <B> 01 </B> thrown off can flow back into the oil collecting chamber:
However, it has now been shown that, particularly in the case of portable cinema equipment, d. H. Suitcase devices, but often oil escapes from the bearing openings during transport and there is therefore a risk of film tape becoming oily. The oil leak occurs when the case has to be turned over during transport, as the oil can then run from the oil sump into the return ducts in the folded position and from there along the shaft to the outside, because the splash ring is yes ineffective during transport.
According to the invention, this unpleasant phenomenon is remedied in that the oil return ducts of the axles protruding from the gear housing open out in every position of the housing above the respective oil level. This arrangement ensures that the cinema case can be carried in any position without having to fear an oil leak on the axle bearings to the outside. A particularly expedient embodiment is that in which the oil return ducts are arranged in the eyes protruding above the oil level and containing the associated axis position.
The figure shows a Ausführungsbei game of the object of the invention with an indication of the oil level setting in two different positions of the housing. The housing a, which is closed on all sides, is shown in section and is partially filled with oil, had two eyes <I> b </I> and <I> d. </I> that protrude relatively far inwards Bearing for the drive axis f and the eye d the bearing for the axis g of a transport roller. On each of the two axles there is a splash ring h, which hurls the oil emerging from the axle position) into the oil trap chamber i and thus prevents oil from leaking outside the housing.
From the oil trap i, the <B> 01 </B> flows through the oil return duct <I> k </I> back into the oil sump <I> m </I>, from where it then flows through some one of the usual and known means for circulating oils is fed back to the bearings. This lubricating device itself is not shown as not belonging to the essence of the invention, nor is the rest of the gearbox except for the two gears.
The position of the oil sump m is the normal position during operation of the cinema case device. If the cinema case is now turned over during transport, the content of the oil sump flows to the side below and approximately assumes the position indicated by the letter m ', which is the position when the illustration is rotated by <B> 900 </B> to the right setting position of the oil sump, corresponding to the assumed transport position of the case. It is clearly evident that in this position too the opening e of the oil return duct 1c arranged in the bearing eye d lies above the oil sump <I> m '</I>.
If the case were to be turned to the left by about <B> 900 </B>, the orifice <I> p </I> of the oil return channel <I> k </I> in the eye b would protrude beyond the one that is now being set;
even if the case falls over completely. of the gearbox housing by <B> 180 '</B>, the two openings o and p are above the oil sump level that then appears. The case can therefore be placed in any position), the oil level will always be below the outlets of the oil return ducts and this prevents oil from escaping to the axles leading to the outside, as no oil from the oil sump into the oil return channels can penetrate.
