Liquid cylinder pump for vessels to be closed by means of a stopper. The present invention relates to a liquid cylinder pump for vessels to be closed by means of a stopper, in which the stopper equipped with an inlet valve and the cylinder attached to the latter is penetrated in the longitudinal direction by a pipe serving as a sliding and liquid riser pipe, the piston at the end the guided over the sliding and riser pipe and protruding upward from the cylinder piston is attached to the hollow rod.
For example, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawings, namely Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of a first and Fig. 2 is a partial longitudinal section of a second embodiment.
The conveniently made of rubber, slightly conical plug 1 has a zen cal bore 2, which is lined with a metal sleeve 3. When the bottom exit from the plug 1, this metal sleeve continues as a capsule 4 in which openings 5 are arranged. Over the caps sel 4 is a capsule 6 made of elastic Ma material, expediently made of rubber, with a thick bottom pushed so far that the jacket 6 'covers the openings 5. The cylinder base 7 has a connector 8 equipped with air passage openings 18, the latter being pushed airtight into the sleeve 3 to such an extent that a structural unit of cylinder 11 and plug 1 is present.
The at the same time as a sliding tube for the piston hollow rod 13 and as a riser pipe for the liquid to be pumped from a Ge vat serving pipe 10 penetrates the plug 1 and the cylinder 11, whereby it is from the capsule 6; the nozzle 8, and the piston hollow rod 13 zen cally and secured against axial displacement ge is held. The piston 9, which advantageously has a leather sleeve, is fastened to the lower end of the hollow piston rod 13, the stuffing box 14 preventing air from escaping along the outer jacket of the tube 10.
The cylinder cover 12 has a guide opening 15 for the piston rod 13 and bores 16 for the passage of air. The upper end of the piston hollow rod 13 is provided with a handle 17 which is advantageously designed to be removable.
The operation of the liquid cylinder pump described is as follows: By grasping the handle 17, the piston 9 is pushed upwards, which creates negative pressure in the lower cylinder space, so that air from the outside atmosphere flows in through the openings 16 and past the leather sleeve of the piston 9 enters the lower cylinder space and fills it. If the piston 9 is pressed down from the upper end position, the air flows down through the openings 18 and generates an overpressure in the capsule 3, 4 in relation to the interior of the vessel, as a result of which the jacket 6 'is stretched in the area of the openings 5, so that the air can get through the latter into the interior of the vessel and press on the liquid level.
Since this rises through the riser pipe and can easily be supplied to the intended use.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 has an ascending and sliding pipe 10 ', which is hermetically enclosed by the plug 19 over its entire length, whereby the former is very well secured against undesired central and axial displacements during operation. The plug 19 is also penetrated by a tube 20 provided with radial openings 21, which serves for the passage of air and at the lower end of which a rubber cap 22 is pushed over the openings 21. The effect is the same as in the first described embodiment.
Without deviating from the essence of the present invention, the protruding part of the metal sleeve 3 from the plug 1 could be slightly tapered in diameter so that the sleeve together with the rubber cap 6 can be pulled up out of the plug 1. Instead of the rubber cap 22, a short rubber hose could also be used, the lower end of which is open in a wedge-shaped convergence and slot-like manner.
