Einbaubadewanne.
Built-in bathtub. It is known to install bathtubs, in particular enamelled cast iron bathtubs, in such a way that the cladding consisting of a tiled wall is butted against the edge of the bathtub from the bottom. This results in a butt joint to be spread between the edge of the tub and the tile wall, which runs irregularly due to the inaccuracies in the tub edge and the tiles that cannot be eliminated and thus looks unattractive. This also applies to those bathtubs whose edge bead ends in a connection tire for the cladding wall that is directed vertically downwards.
The removal of the butt joint should now bezw according to the invention by reaching over. Be done over cover of the upper edge of the cladding wall. The previously known connection strips are not readily suitable for such a cover. Your full wall thickness would protrude over the tile cladding, which in turn would be unsightly and inexpedient. The invention eliminates this drawback and consists in the fact that the connecting strip is younger in its strength compared to the thickness of the horizontally extending bead part and serves as a system for the cladding wall, this overlapping to the outside.
In the drawing, the invention is shown in some exemplary embodiments. 1 shows a tub bead in cross section along the line from FIG. 2, which shows a top view thereof, FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 show further cross-sectional designs of the tub bead, and FIG. 6 shows the cross section of the tub bead according to FIG Cladding wall.
The bead 1 of the tub 2 has a connector strip 3 directed vertically downwards. The design of the same is suitable, corresponding to the embodiments of FIGS. 1 to 6, to overlap the upper end 4 of the cladding wall 6 occupied with tiles 5 in such a way that an inconspicuous, still effective transition 9 is created. According to FIG. 1, the edge of the connecting strip 3 is stepped backwards at 7, so that the part 8 covering the cladding wall only has a weak wall thickness that is not bulky.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the connection is respectively. About cover strips 3 continuously held in a smaller wall thickness than the horizontally directed bead part. The wedge-shaped design of the connecting strip 3 according to FIG. 4, in which the inner surface 10 runs obliquely to the vertical, results in a wedge-shaped cavity between the cladding wall and the tub edge at the overlap point, which can be invisibly passed from the front.
According to FIG. 5, the outer surface 11 of the connecting strip 3 runs obliquely to the vertical, so that the connecting strip 3 tapers from the outside towards its lower end and a connection to the tile wall 5 that runs smoothly results.
The cladding wall 6 consists of a floorboard or Rabitz wall 12 to which the Ka cheln 5 are attached in the usual way. To hold the wall 3 retaining clamps 13 can be placed on the connecting strip, which engage around the wall with lugs 14 backwards. These holding clamps are expediently distributed over the length of the tub at short intervals. Continuous strips can also be provided instead of the noses.
