Description
Spray gun for the atomization of liquids, especially paints. The present invention relates to a spray gun for the atomization of liquids, particularly paints, which operates without a motor, compressor and compressed air bombs.
The spray gun has a container which: is intended to be filled with compressed air using a hand pump, and an atomizing nozzle with distributor piece and shut-off valve attached to the container, with the container as a cladding with a bubble that accommodates the liquid to be atomized enveloped in such a way that the compressed air: compresses the bubble with: the liquid contained therein so tightly that: the same is atomized when flowing through the atomizing nozzle.
The Fland air pump can expediently be built into the spray gun or attached to it. The atomization pressure can: be easily adjusted to the spray liquid so that a fine and mist-free atomization occurs. The atomization pressure depends on: the viscosity of the liquid to be atomized.
With thin liquids, such as those used for spraying plants, a spray pressure of 2 to: 4 atm. Is sufficient, colors, on the other hand, require one. Pressure up to 50 atm. At higher pressures, the 7ers: deadening is probably finer, but the risk of fog formation is increased, which again results in color losses.
Since the compressed air is very expandable, the entire contents of: the spray gun can be sprayed at once if, before spraying starts, a few atmospheres of excess pressure are pumped into the spray gun. In order to make the spray gun as light as possible, an air valve can be attached to the spray gun instead of the hand air pump, so that the hand air pump, of course, can handle a pressure of over 50 atm. must be equipped with a lever transmission, can also be carried separately.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment. It shows a longitudinal section through the spray gun. The bubble 1 is used to hold the paint or liquid to be atomized. The casing 3, which envelops the bladder 1, is filled with compressed air by the hand pump 3. The compressed air can also be pumped through the air valve 4, which is attached to the formwork 2, by a hand-held air pump separate from the gun into the formwork.
The bladder 1 is pressed firmly onto the face of the neck 5 by the nozzle 6, so that the edge of the bladder 1 also serves as a seal, where the nozzle 6 is screwed to the neck 5. The distributor piece 7 in the nozzle 6 serves to evenly distribute the paint through fine slits directly in front of the exit from the nozzle opening, which enables better atomization. So that the color can be completed directly before the exit from the nozzle 6, with respect to the flow direction of the Ven tilsitz 8, which is closed abge by the valve pin 9, attached in front of the head of the manifold piece 7, the spring 10 the valve pin 9 presses against the valve seat 8.
By pulling back the cable 11 attached to the valve pin 9 and the handle 1? is attached, the shut-off valve is opened. The trigger 12 and the cable holder 13 are attached to the tongue 1.1, which is attached to the nozzle 6. The handle 15 on the tTm formwork? is attached, is used to hold the spray gun.
