  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Theophyllin-Derivates    einer       Quecksilberverbindung    der     Urethanreihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass     man    zu einem       Theophyllin-Derivat    einer Quecksilberver  bindung der     Urethanreihe    gelangen kann,  wenn man auf eine Verbindung, -die das  Radikal der     Formel

         enthält,    wie z. B. die freie Base, sowie ihre  Salze,     Theophyllin    einwirken lässt.  



  Die auf     diese    Weise     gewonnene    Verbin  dung der Formel       C7H1403N-Hg-C7H702N4     bildet weisse Kristalle vom F. 173 bis 175  .  Die neue Verbindung zeichnet sich .durch  ihre starke     diuretische    Wirkung bei     guter     Verträglichkeit aus.     .Sie    soll therapeutische  Verwendung finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  42 Teile     N-Allyl-isopropylurethan-mer-          curiacetat    setzt man mit 20 Teilen Theo-         phyllin    in wässeriger Lösung um, dampft die  Lösung im Vakuum zur Trockne ein     und    kri  stallisiertden Rückstand aus Wasser um. Die  neue Verbindung der Formel       C7111403N-Hg-C7H702L\4     bildet weisse Kristalle vom F. 173 bis<B>175'.</B>  An Stelle von     N-Allyl-isopropylurethan-          mercuriacetat    kann man auch von einem an  dern Salz     wie    z. B. vom     Propionat,        Butyrat     oder von der freien Base selbst ausgehen.
