Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserlöslichen Azofarbstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatz patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserlöslichen Azofarbstoffes, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, :dass man 1 Mal. Resorcin mit .1: Hol. diazotierter 2-Amino- phenol-4-sulfonsäure und 1 Hol. diazotierter 5-Aminoacenaphthen-$-sulfonsäure vereinigt und den erhaltenen Disazofarbstoff mit einem kupferabgebenden Mittel behandelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Die Diazoverbindung von 1,89 Gewichts teilen 2-Aminophenol-4-sulfonsäure wird mit einer konzentrierten wässrigen Lösung von 110 Gewichtsteilen Resorcin vereinigt. Zu dem Gemisch wird innerhalb einiger Stun den bei 0 C tropfenweise verdünnte Na tronlauge zugegeben, bis die Reaktion phenol- phthalein-alkalisch und die Kupplung be endet ist.
Der gebildete Monoazofarbstoff wird isoliert, filtriert, mit Wasser angeteigt und mit 150 Gewichtsteilen calcinierter Soda in Lösung gebracht.
Die Farbstofflösung wird sodann in Gegenwart von Eis unter Rühren langsam mit einer Diazoverbindung vereinigt, die aus einer fein verteilten wäss- rigen Suspension von 24,9 Gewichtsteilen 5 Aminoacenaphthen-8-sulfosäure mit 69,-,Ge- wichtsteilen Natriumnitrit in Gegenwart von 0 Volumteilen roher .Salzsäure und Eis erhalten wurde.
Nach beendeter Bildung des Disazofarbstoffes wind ausgesalzen, isoliert und getrocknet. 614 Gewichtsteile des Na triumsalzes des erhaltenen Farbstoffes wer den zusammen mit 260 Gewichtsteilen Tetramincuprisulfat in der Kugelmühle 310 Stunden gemahlen. Nach beendeter Ammo- niakentwichlung wird die Kupferverbindung des Farbstoffes erhalten.
Das Produkt stellt ein braunes Pulver -dar, das sich in Wasser mit violettbrauner Farbe löst und Leder in rotstichigen dunkel braunen Tönen von guter Alkali- und Säure echtheit färbt.
