Bicyclette. L'objet de la présente invention est une bicyclette, caractérisée en ce que la selle pos sède un dossier et est située au-dessus et près de la roue arrière et que le pédalier est placé près et derrière la roue avant, de ma nière que le cycliste assis sur la selle pédale obliquement en s'appuyant au dossier de la selle.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en élévation, à petite échelle, et la fig. 2 une vue en plan partielle de la roue avant et du pédalier.
La bicyclette représentée en fig. 1 est dite à pédalage oblique.
Le cadre 1 porte la selle 2 et son dossier 3 et forme un tube 4 que traverse le guidon 5 relié à la fourche avant 6; il comporte, en outre, un moyeu 7 dans lequel passe l'axe 8 sur lequel sont montées la roue dentée 9 et les manivelles 10 portant les pédales 11. La roue dentée 9 actionne, par l'intermédiaire d'une chaîne 12,1e pignon denté 18 figé sur le moyeu de la roue arrière.
Le moyeu 7 est figé aussi près que pos sible et derrière la roue avant, mais de ma nière que la roue avant avec son pare-boue, dans ses mouvement latéraux, n'entre pas en conflit avec les pédales, lorsque celles-ci sont dans leur position extrême avant.
La selle 2 et le dossier 3 sont fixés sur une pièce 14 qui peut coulisser horizonta lement dans un tube 15 du cadre. La position de la pièce 14 par rapport au tube 15 peut être fixée au moyen d'une vis de serrage 16. De cette manière, les positions relatives du pédalier et de la selle avec son dossier peu vent être ajustées suivant les besoins.
Le cadre 1 peut être modifié, comme l'in dique le trait interrompu de la fig. 1, dans le cas on la bicyclette est destinée à une femme.

The bicycle shown in FIG. 1 is said to have oblique pedaling.
The frame 1 carries the saddle 2 and its backrest 3 and forms a tube 4 through which the handlebars 5 connected to the front fork 6 pass; it further comprises a hub 7 in which passes the axis 8 on which are mounted the toothed wheel 9 and the cranks 10 carrying the pedals 11. The toothed wheel 9 actuates, via a chain 12,1e toothed pinion 18 fixed on the hub of the rear wheel.
The hub 7 is fixed as close as possible to and behind the front wheel, but so that the front wheel with its mud shield, in its lateral movements, does not come into conflict with the pedals, when the latter are in their extreme forward position.
The saddle 2 and the backrest 3 are fixed on a part 14 which can slide horizontally in a tube 15 of the frame. The position of the part 14 relative to the tube 15 can be fixed by means of a clamping screw 16. In this way, the relative positions of the crankset and of the saddle with its backrest can be adjusted as required.
The frame 1 can be modified, as indicated by the broken line in FIG. 1, in this case the bicycle is intended for a woman.
