Machine for the production of ampoules from glass tubes. The invention relates to a machine for the production of ampoules from glass tubes according to patent claim II of the main patent, that is to say a machine for carrying out the method according to patent claim I of the main patent, which has at least one glass tube used to manufacture the ampoules,
the C-rlasrohr has a pair of clamping chucks rotating about its longitudinal axis, as well as several gas burners which come into action when the pair of clamping chucks rotates on the glass tube held by the same.
The machine according to the present invention is characterized by adjustable means, wel che, depending on their setting, an approach or removal of the -das glass tube hal border clamping chuck and thus also during the heating of the glass tube when the glass begins to soften on the the glass tube part supplying the skewer arise from the shoulders zu- or. effect from each other.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in one embodiment, insofar as this is necessary for the understanding of the invention, namely Fig. 1 is a sehematic presen- tation of the work flow of the machine and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the up and down movements the glass tube holder be acting curve rim.
The machine drawn here has, like the machine shown in the main patent, by a curve ring: controlled clamping chuck pairs 8, 10 for holding and rotating the glass tubes 9, as well as several gas burners, which come into action when rotating the clamping chuck pairs on the glass tubes held by the same. By diverging, the clamping chuck pairs cause a constriction on the heated part of the glass tube that supplies the skewer.
In the machine described in the main patent specification, the cam rim consisting of rising, falling, and moving and fixed parts, which controlled the lower clamping chucks, had a fixed part, designated 71 in the main patent drawing, which was used for this purpose served to keep the lower clamping chucks 10 during the heating of the glass tube 9 by the burner 35 in an unchanged position relative to the upper clamping chucks 8.
As a result, the skewer diameter can only be regulated by changing the heating burner and the extension length when the skewer is formed.
Instead of this stationary part, a control rail 301 running from a to b, adjustable in height, is provided in the machine shown here, which is supported by rods which are guided in the height direction in the bearings 302 attached to the table top 72.
The rail 301 is raised and lowered by means of the threaded sleeve 304, the rotation of which brings the tie rods 305, 306 closer to or apart from one another and via the angle levers 307, 308 and the tabs 309 connected to them , 310 adjusts the rail.
This adjustability of the rail 301 enables the lower clamping chuck to be in the most favorable position in relation to the upper clamping chuck and the gas burner when producing ampoules of different lengths.
A second rail 311 at 3112, whose left end can be raised or lowered by means of the adjusting screw 313, is connected to the rail 301 in an articulated manner. The beginning at 312 of the rail 311 corresponds to the position of the clamping chuck, in which the heated glass mass has the most favorable degree of softness and can be pulled or compressed.
If the rail 311 is set in such a way that its left end protrudes beyond the horizontal running plane of the rail 301, the clamping chucks 10 are gradually moved towards the clamping chucks 8 from 312 onwards, thus bringing the glass mass together and approaching them the shoulders forming on the glass ear part supplying the skewer, which results in
@that when the skewer is pulled, the skewer is almost cylindrical and the shoulders are almost flat. If, however, the rail 311 is set so that it comes to rest with its left end under the running plane of the .Schiene 301, the lower clamping chuck runs with its support roller on the sawed end of the rail 3.01, and the glass tube is pulled apart ,
that .the shoulders for the ampoule body are brought more and more out of the area of the heating burner 35, so that they run slender, and in addition the skewer diameter becomes narrower.
