Description

Ripe for wooden vessels. Wooden vessels such as tubs, tubs, etc., have the advantage over metal ones of better heat insulation and the avoidance of rust stains in the laundry, but the disadvantage of leaking when not in use, which is the annoying swelling of the wooden vessels before Requires brewing.

The present invention is a hoop that makes this swelling of the wooden vessels unnecessary and still keeps the same tight. This purpose is achieved according to the invention in that the hoop is set up for self-tensioning. For this purpose, at least one tension spring can be built into the hoop or the hoop itself can be re-tensioned, for example by means of corrugated parts.

The drawing illustrates two exemplary embodiments from the subject of the invention. Fig. 1 is a view of a first example attached to a wooden tub, Fig. 2 is a plan view of a second example, and Fig. 3 is a partial elevation of the tire of FIG Fig. 2.

In the first example, the hoop 1 consists of two parts, the ends of which are bent and riveted to form eyelets 2. One ends of two wave-shaped, curved, galvanized tension springs 3 made of the best steel are suspended in the eyelets 2- of one hoop part, the other ends of which are suspended under tension in the eyelets 2 of the other hoop part. The springs 3 hold the staves 4 of the trough 5 close to one another and always remain in tension, but protect the staves and the floor from excessive tension so that the wood does not throw. If necessary, each hoop can have only one tension spring.

Due to their corrugated shape, the springs nestle against the tub wall so that they are in no way a hindrance.

In the example in FIG. 2, the tire 11 has corrugated parts 31, which give the tire tension when the tire is pulled onto the tub, analogous to the specially used springs according to FIG. 1
