Description
Weaving method and machine for weaving. The invention relates to a method for weaving on looms with fixed weft bobbins and gripper weft insertion device (needle or shuttle) and consists in that the weft thread is drawn in longer than the fabric width and that, before the stop, from the insertion side do through a @ weft thread retractor; the part of the weft thread protruding from the fabric is withdrawn to close to the corresponding fabric edge.
The shooter is expediently brought up to a certain position after he has been caught before the weft thread is freed from him and his protruding part is pulled back almost to the corresponding fabric edge by the weft thread pulling device.
A weft thread retractor is provided in a machine that is suitable for carrying out the method and also forms part of the invention, wel cher after the insertion of the weft thread, grips it between the fabric edge and weft bobbin and pulls back the weft thread part located in the shed by a certain pale. The weft retractor can be provided with clamping jaws, possibly with a hook or a finger. The stroke of the weft retractor can be adjustable.
The thread end freed from the shooter is expediently braked by a special device and keep ge so that it cannot jump back into the subject due to its elasticity. If necessary, a sensor can be installed towards the shed end, which sets the stroke of the weft thread retractor. The braking device can also act as a Füh ler. The weft thread can be braked by a suction device. It can be seen in front of a shooter sliding device which pushes the shooter into a certain position after he has been caught before the thread is released from him and withdrawn by the thread retractor.
The shooter can be pushed in the firing direction to his new shooting position. The thread retractor advantageously contains at least one elastic member, so that the weft thread remains taut between the fabric edge and weft bobbin after it has been hit.
In Fig. 1 to 7 is a schematic exemplary embodiment of the weaving process respectively. of the machine. The bed threads 1 run from a bed tree, not shown; the weft threads 2 and 2 'run from two stationary weft bobbins 3 and 4, which are on each side of the machine. The shooter 5 is provided with two clamps 6 and 7 and with two incisions 8 and 9.
The hooks 10 and 11 engage in these incisions and bring the shooter into his firing position. The shooter 5 is provided in a known manner with two knives 12 and 13 which cut the weft threads. The operation is as follows: In Fig. 1, the shooter is in the box. The weft thread 2 is brought into the shooter terminal 6, for. B. by moving the thread from top to bottom. The contactor terminal 6 is now closed.
In Fig. 2, the shooter 5 is already shot by a racket, not shown for the sake of simplicity, and takes the weft thread 2 with it. This weft thread is cut off by the knife 12 in that the thread part connected to the fabric was bent in the shed. In Fig. 3, the shooter 5 has arrived in the box B and has been braked.
It is brought into a certain position by the hook 11 (FIG. 4). A feeler 16 will press the weft thread with slight pressure against the reed end 17 in order to prevent the weft thread from jumping back into the shed. Only then is the thread clamp 6 opened and the freed weft thread end is withdrawn by the thread retractor 14 close to the corresponding fabric edge (FIG. 5).
Since the shooter before opening his terminal 6 respectively. 7 always in the same distance from the tissue by the hook 11 respectively. 10 is brought, the thread retractor will always have to pull the thread back by the same amount. Of course, this process could be changed in that the thread retractor 14 would work with an adjustable stroke. The setting of the thread retractor could for example be done by a not shown sensor, so that the thread end to the desired point, z.
B. up to the fabric edge, ge is brought (Fig. 5): In Fig. 6, the last entered weft is struck by the reed 15 against the Ge tissue, and in Fig. 7 the weft thread 2 'is introduced into the shuttle clamp 7 out and clamped, as in FIG. 1, the weft thread 2 in the clamp 6, but from the other side of the fabric. The process will repeat itself from left to right, same as in FIGS. 2 to 6.
This process makes it possible to produce a clean fabric with very simple means. He also aims to save weft thread by not sticking out any fringes from the fabric that would otherwise have to be cut off.
