Device for the production of fabrics The invention relates to a device for the Her position of fabrics, in which the weft thread is pulled from at least one outside of the shed ver remaining bobbins and inserted into the warp in hairpin-shaped thread pieces.
It consists in the fact that the weft insertion is carried out by at least one bobbin-less shooter and that to form the hairpin-shaped entries on the fabric edge, arranged clamping and cutting devices alternately come into effect, with the shooter passing through the shed in the area of the warp and thereby controls the timing of the clamping and cutting devices.
The sensing means can consist of at least one touch lever that protrudes into the compartment and is actuated by the shooter, or a light beam that is influenced by the shooter and acts on a photo cell.
In the drawing, the device is shown schematically as an example.
The chain is labeled 1. 2 is a stationary supply bobbin and 3 is the weft thread end piece, which goes from the supply bobbin 2 via a thread guide 4 through a rear clamp 5 to a front clamp 6 and is temporarily held by this. The feeler 7 is arranged below the warp and feels upwards from below. He is by a rod 8 with the front terminal 6 a related party. The shooter 9 has a thread holder 10 and is in the position shown in FIG. 1 in its left end position.
The movement of the shooter 9 is such that it goes through the compartment from left to right in a manner known per se, not shown here, and returns under the compartment from right to left into its starting position. An embodiment would also be conceivable in which another bobbin would be arranged on the opposite side of the warp, that is to say on the right side. In this case, another shooter would also be used. In Fig. 1 there is also a threader 11 between the shooter 9 and the clamp 6. On the right edge of the fabric, as shown in Figs. 4 and 7, a suction nozzle 12 is arranged.
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the device also includes a thread feeder 15 and a pair of scissors 17 actuated by a lever 16 and actuated by a sensor 19 via a rod 18.
Instead of the mechanical actuation between the sensor 7 and the terminal 6 or between the sensor 19 and the scissors 17, the actuation could also be triggered optically-electrically. In this case the sensor 7 or 19 would have to be replaced by a light barrier and the impulse transmission equipped accordingly.
The operation of the device is as follows. According to FIG. 1, the shooter 9 is in its left starting position. The rear clamp 5 is open and the end part of the weft thread 3 is held by the front clamp 6. Shortly before the shuttle 9 moves from left to right, the threader 11 hooks the weft thread 3 into the thread holder 10. During the movement of the shooter 9 through the compartment, the shooter 9 withdraws material from the reel 2.
In the situation shown in Fig. 2, the shooter 9 touches the sensor 7, whereupon the clamp 6 is opened via the rod 8, so that the end of the thread 3 is free and accordingly Fig. 3 comes into the compartment for entry. In the position of the shuttle 9 shown in FIG. 4, the thread end 3 has left the shuttle 9 and has already been sucked in by the nozzle 12. This is followed by a stop and a change of subject.
In the meantime the clamp 5 has opened and the weft thread 3 has been drawn off by the threader 11 by at least the bobbin width and placed in front of the thread holder 10, as shown in FIG. 5. When the shooter 9 moves from left to right, the weft thread 3 is held on the fabric edge 20 and further thread material is drawn off the shooter 9 from the bobbin 2 until the shooter 9 touches the sensor 19. The sensor 19 now actuates the scissors 17 via the rod 18 and the lever 16, the latter cutting the weft thread 3 through.
Upon further passage of the shooter 9, the end of the thread 3 is placed in the compartment. In order to ensure that the thread entered in the subject is kept stretched until the next stop and subject change, the thread is sucked in through the nozzle 12. After the weft thread 3 has been cut, the thread feeder 15 grips the newly formed end piece of the thread and brings it from the position shown in FIG. 6 to the position shown in FIG. 7, whereupon the clamp 6 is closed and the clamp 5 is opened .
The feeder 15 now releases the thread 3 and is then pivoted back into its starting position. Then the threader 11 brings the new piece of thread 3 into the driver 10 of the in the meantime approached on the underside of the chain shooter 9, whereupon the entry process begins again with Fig. 1 as the starting position.
The material withdrawn from the bobbin 2 is, as shown in FIG. 7, placed in hairpin-shaped loops in the warp 20, the loops being on the side of the selvedge 20 facing the bobbin 2 and the ends on the side facing away from the bobbin.
In the also possible version with several cops and shooters, the hairpin-shaped loops are placed in the chain in such a way that the two weave edges are made the same and a loop with a thread end comes to lie between two thread ends.
