Description

Necessary for the hygiene of the mouth and teeth. The object of the present invention is a kit for the hygiene of the mouth and teeth.

The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment thereof given by way of example.

The. Fi-. 1 is an overall longitudinal section with a schematic indication of the main parts of which it is composed; Figs. 2 to 7 are schematic longitudinal sections of some of these parts.

The kit shown brings together, in a single compact, the items essential to the care of the mouth and teeth, such as: toothbrush, cup and toothpaste container. Very small in size, practical, it allows. anyone who is concerned about their hygiene, to carry it constantly (in a pocket or in a bag) and to use it as needed, wherever it is.

This kit is cylindrical and includes a. toothpaste (fig. 2 and 3) which, assembled in parts 7, 8, 9 (fig. 1), constitutes the toothbrush itself and a cup (fig. 6).

The cover 6 (fig. 3) is screwed on by means of the threads 20 and 21 to. the socket 1, to constitute the reservoir. The orifice of the cover 6 has a conical flaring, so that it can be applied to the opening of any tube of toothpaste with a view to filling it.

Inside the reservoir is a piston 5, drilled and axially threaded. The threaded rod 2) is retained inside the tank by a washer 3 and is integral with the disc 4 placed outside.

To extract the dough from the reservoir, it suffices to turn the disc 4 to the right, which activates the rod 2 on which the piston 5 moves towards the mouth of the neck 6 through which the dough is discharged in quan desired tity.

The piston 5 is returned by turning the disc 4 to the left. On the mouth of the cover 6 of the tank is screwed by means of the threads 24, 25 the part 7.

This is how the brush handle is made. The part 7, which is provided in its bottom, facing the mouth of the reservoir, with a rubber lens 19, of convex planar shape, also serves to seal it hermetically. said reservoir.

The brush 8 is cylindrical. The hairs are implanted in a helix, on a small support pierced axially. It is held on the handle by a rod 9, screwed to part 7. The brush 8 rotating freely on the rod 9, one obtains, by a single movement, the brushing of the teeth, in all directions and over their entire surface. This brush 8 can therefore be easily removed, in the event of wear, to change it.

The cup (Fig. 4, 6, 7) is formed of six strips 10, placed in a circle on a small metal disc 14. Each of the strips is held on the disc 14 by a rod 18, made of steel, flexible. Thus united, they form a cylinder which is embedded in the base 15. Inside the cylinder thus formed is a cup 17, made of special, very thin rubber, the lower part of which is retained in the bottom of the cylinder, between the head of the rod 12 and the washer 11. The upper part of the cup is folded into a small very thin bead which is placed at the top of the strips, once they are open, which tends the go belet.

In the lower cavity of the lamellae is enclosed a nut 13 of spheroidal shape. To open the slats, it suffices to turn to the left, the disc 16 which, being integral with the threaded rod 12, moves the nut 13, which by moving in the direction of the head of the rod 12, makes a passage between the lamellae, causing them to separate in the form of a funnel. For the recall of the melles, we turn the disc 16 to the right, and the nut 13, taking again its place in the lower cavity of the blades, presses on their base and they tighten against each other to form a the cylinder again.

The pin of the disc 14. placed in the notch of the base 15, prevents the lamellar cylinder from rotating under the action of the disc 16.

The cup is screwed to the reservoir by means of the threads 20, 21 and the kit is closed, thus preserving the objects it contains from any impurity.

It is obvious that one could confec t the cup with four blades instead of six, without however changing the design.

Likewise, the cup 17 could be replaced by "palmating" the strips with this same rubber.
