1Viehrstufiger Rotationskompressor.
1 four-stage rotary compressor. The known multistage rotary compressors with coaxially lying working chambers and rotors connected to one another by couplings have the main disadvantage that they take up a relatively large amount of space. The ratios in terms of space are somewhat cheaper ger in designs in which the housing of the working chambers are flanged to an intermediate piece, or in which the working chambers are placed in one and the same housing; However, the space savings are not essential here either, and in the case of designs with the intermediate piece mentioned there are difficulties with regard to the bearing and sealing of the drive shaft.
In the multi-stage rotary compressor according to the invention, the working chambers of the individual pressure stages are not arranged axially to one another.
This enables a correspondingly significant reduction in the length of the machine, which is particularly important for mobile compressor systems. Since with unequal axis arrangement of the working chambers ge compared to the equiaxed arrangement of the same accordingly different structural conditions are given, one advantageously has the opportunity to change the performance of the compressor by changing the translation of a gear used to drive the rotor; One and the same machine model can thus be adjusted to different services by changing the gear ratio.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in Fig. 1 in elevation with partial section, and in Fig. 2 in a representation at right angles thereto.
It is a two-stage Rotationskompres sor drawn, the working chambers 1 and 2 of the first respectively. assigned to the second pressure stage. The two working chambers 1 and 2 advantageously have at least approximately the same internal diameter and have a cylinder liner 3 which is arranged to be exchangeable so that it can easily be replaced if necessary. 4 is the drive shaft of the rotor assigned to the working chamber 2. The drive movement is transmitted from the drive shaft 4 through a chain gear 5 to the rotor assigned to the working chamber 1.
On the working side of the rotor assigned to the working chamber 2, a lubrication pump 6 is provided, which at this point does not block Wei ter space. 7 and 8 are the routes through which the pressure medium enters the working chambers 1 and 2. 9 is a casing which covers the chain transmission 5.
The two working chambers 1 and 2 are arranged vertically above one another with respect to their axes, but this is of course not a condition; For example, the two working chambers 1 and 2 could be arranged horizontally next to one another or in some other way that is not coaxial with one another.
By exchanging the wheels of the chain transmission 5, the transmission ratio from the drive shaft 4 of the rotor associated with the working chamber 2 to the shaft of the rotor associated with the working chamber 1 can be changed for a corresponding change in the performance of the compressor. The housing of the compressor can be water-cooled or air-cooled by a fan.
The arrangement of the working chambers according to the invention is of course also suitable for rotary compressors with more than two pressure stages.
In the present case, the term rotary compressor encompasses both the versions with only rotating pistons (rotary piston compressors) and the versions in which the pistons, in addition to the rotating piston, simultaneously make a rolling movement (rotary piston compressors).
