Description

Fahrradantrieb.

Bicycle drive. The present invention relates to a bicycle drive.

The accompanying drawing illustrates an example of the subject matter of the invention, specifically showing: FIG. 1 a side view of the drive, a housing cover omitted, FIG. 2 a cross section of the same.

In the drawing, 1 is the pedal crank that is firmly seated on the pedal crank axle 2. The sprocket 3, which transmits the movement to the rear wheel by means of a chain, also sits loosely on the pedal crank axle.

With the chain wheel 3, a gear 4 is firmly connected, which. is rotatably arranged on the pedal crank axle. The gear 4 engages in a gear 5 which is rotatably mounted on the pedal crank 1. The toothed wheel 5 engages in a fixed ring gear 6.

When the crank 1 is rotated, the gear 5 rotatably mounted on it rotates on the one hand planetary, on the other hand it rotates in the opposite direction to the crank around its own axis. As a result, the gear 4 and the chain wheel 3 are rotated at an increased speed in the same direction as the crank. The wheels 4, 5 and 6 are protected by the housing parts 7 and 7 'ge. The cover 7 'rotates with the pedal crank. 8 is a console that is used to fasten the ring gear 6 Be.

Claims (1)

PATENT CLAIM: Bicycle drive, characterized in that a gear wheel is rotatably mounted on the crank, which wheel engages both in a stationary ring gear and in another gear, the latter being rotatably seated on the crank axle and firmly connected to the driving sprocket.
