  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren     blonoazofarbstoffes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden     Patentes        ist     ein     Verfalren    zur     Darstellung    eines :sauren       Monoazofarbstoffes,    das dadurch gekenn  zeichnet ist,     dass    man     4-(N-p-Toluolsulfo-N-          benzyl)-amido-3-methyl-l-@amidobenzol        @dzazo-          tiert    und mit     N-Benzoyl-y-säure    kuppelt.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>         3,6,6    Teile     4-(N-Toluolsulfo-N-benzyl)-          ami.do-3-methyl-l=amidobenzol    werden mit  6,9 Teilen     Nitrit    und 25 Teilen     Salzsäure          diazotiert    und in Gegenwart von     übenschüs-          sigem        Natriumacetat    mit 34,3 Teilen     N-Ben-          zoyl-y-säure        ,

  gekuppelt.    Die     Kupplung    kann  auch     in.    Gegenwart von     Natriumbikarbonat     oder ähnlich s     ohwaoh        wirkenden    Neutradi-         sationsmitteln    vorgenommen werden. Der     iso-          lierte    und .getrocknete Farbstoff bildet ein  rotes     Pulver,    welches Wolle und Seide in  lebhaften     roten    Tönen färbt.
