Sicherheits-Gasbrenner.

Safety gas burner. The present invention relates to a safety gas burner with a straw plug for the bypass gas and a valve for the main gas, which are concentrically assembled so that they can be installed and removed as a whole, the main valve being arranged so that it is rotating when it is turned of the cock inevitably grinds on its seat in order to clean it.
In the accompanying drawings, some embodiments of the subject invention are shown. 1 shows a vertical longitudinal section through the valve block and the thermostat device of a burner with a slip clutch along the section line 1-1 in FIG. 3, and FIG. 2 shows a vertical longitudinal section.
through the thermostat device of a burner with direct lever transmission without slip clutch, Fig. 3 is a side view of the valve block according to Fig. 1, Fig. 9 is a view of the stop device for the rotary movement of the gas tap, Fig. 1 and 6 are views of actuating levers with different transmission ratios,
Fig. 7 is a vertical section through the valve block and the thermostat device of a burner with bypass valve and push button valve and Fig. 8 is a vertical section through the valve block of a burner with auxiliary device for metering the bypass amount.
According to Fig. 1, the axially pierced gas cock plug 4 is mounted in the valve block 1 with the gas outlet nozzle 2 .and the inlet connection 6, in which .das .Main valve 10 is axially displaceable and is pressed tightly against its sharp-edged seat by the valve spring 9. The driver 13 engages in the driver slot 12 of the same, which has the effect that the main valve must take part in every rotary movement of the gas tap, whereby it automatically grinds itself on its edge.
Instead of entrainers, it can also be effected in some other way that the main valve inevitably grinds on the valve seat with every rotary movement of the stopcock.
A set screw 11 is axially displaceable in the internal thread of the pierced main valve shaft, the slotted, forwardly extended shaft part 7 of the main valve clamps the screw 11 to secure it against unintentional rotation (loosening).
A small amount of grass is diverted into the annular channel 14 of the gas tap 4 through the auxiliary bore 8 on the gas inlet nozzle 6; it flows through an axial channel 15 and a bore 16 to the control housing 17. The annular channel 14 and the axial channel 15 are arranged so that the diversion gas is only blocked at the last moment of the closing movement of the gas valve plug.
The diversion gas flows within the control housing 17, which is closed by the screw cap 18, through the exchangeable diversion nozzle 19, is dosed here and occurs e.g. B. at 23 in the cavity of the thermostat tube 25 and from there through the heating flame holes 26 and the ignition flame hole 27 to the outside. The amount of bypass gas should be dosed to about 1-3% of the main amount of gas.
If the diversion gas is ignited at the bores 26, 27, the thermostat tube 25 heats up under the influence of the heating flame and extends forward, with the pull and push rod 24 according to FIG. 1 indirectly via the slip clutch or directly according to FIG Clockwise rotation of the actuating lever of the main valve 10, thereby opening the same.
The slip clutch consists of the clamping ring 20, the driver 21 and the control sleeve 22 of the lever 34 and is arranged in such a way that it can be removed to the rear after the closure cap 18 has been loosened.
If there is no slip clutch, as shown in FIG. 2, the entire thermostat path is transmitted from the control sleeve 22a to the main valve via the lever 3.4.
In Fig. 3, the leaf spring 28 is ersicht Lich, which presses the cock plug 4 on its seat. 3 and 4, a stop spring 29 is also provided which, in conjunction with the stop pin 30, forms an intermediate position notch for that position of the cock plug in which the main gas is shut off by the plug, the bypass gas is still open . Only when the stopcock is turned further beyond this notch is the bypass gas blocked.
The rotary movement of the cock plug is limited by the stop pin 30, which slides in a slot in the valve block 1.
According to Fig. 5 and 6, the actuating lever 34 of the main valve is mounted on the axis 33 and provided with a protruding nose 32, the cutting edge of which lies against the flat surface of the control sleeve 22, which in turn is moved when the length of the thermostat changes. 31 represents the longitudinal axis of the thermostat linkage and 35 the axis of the cock plug. With this arrangement, any desired translation can be achieved in a simple manner by changing the operating lever from the perpendicular distance between the nose 32 and the pivot axis 33 as required changes, the distance between the axes 31, 33, 35 from each other remains the same.
So you can change the leverage afterwards in an existing housing.
7 shows a burner in which a diverting valve 50 with a shaft 53 is built concentrically in the valve stem of the main valve.
The adjusting screw 54 is arranged axially displaceably in the bypass valve shaft 53, which is secured against turning in the guide pin 56 of the actuating lever by the guide adapter 55, which is flattened on both sides. If you turn the gas path plug, its bypass valve edge seat rotates while the bypass valve itself stops, but rubs on its seat and cleans it in the process.
The driver pin 60 causes the main valve to inevitably rotate at the same time as the gas valve plug is rotated, so that its valve plate also rubs on its edge seat and cleans it. There is a certain small space between the guide adapter 55 of the bypass valve and the valve disk of the main valve.
When the actuating lever is opened, the bypass valve is opened first and then the main valve is opened by applying the guide adapter to the main valve disk.
The diverting valve 50 is held in the closed position by the valve spring 51 and only opens when the actuating lever resting on the adjusting screw 54 under the influence of the thermostat rod 38 expanding in the thermostat tube 39 via the driver 40, the clamping ring 41 and the control sleeve 42 ge formed slip clutch is rotated counterclockwise.
The diversion gas flows from the gas inlet nozzle 59 through the auxiliary hole 58 in the control rod 57 into the supply line 52 under the diversion valve 50. If this diversion valve opens, the diversion gas flows through the bore 49, the axial groove 47, the bore 45, the bypass nozzle 44 and the supply line 43 into the thermostat device to the pilot flame hole 37, at which it forms the flame 36.
After the auxiliary bore 58, a second bypass gas path is branched off, which can be opened by the spring-loaded push button valve 46 by means of the push button 48, the bypass gas either flowing directly to the pilot hole 37 or feeding a heating pipe 91 (climbing pipe) and heating the thermostat rod 38 for as long as than the push button valve is open.
While the gas regulation in the above-described embodiments takes place in such a way that the main valve is either completely closed when the pilot flame is not burning or fully opened when the pilot flame is burning, Fig. 8 shows an exemplary embodiment in which the main valve is not only either completely closed or is fully open, but can also be controlled to certain intermediate positions. There is a certain amount of regulation of the main gas flow and thus regulation of the respective heat output.
This is done by different heating and length changes of the thermostat tube with a corresponding influence on the amount of bypass gas, which is dosed depending on the respective heat demand.
The annular groove 64 of the main valve stem 65 takes over the coarse regulation of the order amount of line gas which flows through the bores 62, 63. The fine adjustment of the bypass gas amount is carried out by the control sleeve 66 and the control piston 67, depending on the respective heat needs: Is the heat demand z. B.
Zero, the amount of bypass gas is reduced so far that the pilot and heating flame 69 is still burning without being able to extend the thermostat rohratab 68; If the heat demand increases, the bypass gas quantity is increased so much that a correspondingly increased thermal expansion of the thermostat tube and thus a correspondingly larger intermediate opening position of the main valve 61 is set, etc.
In all the exemplary embodiments, at least the stopcock plug and the main valve and possibly the diverting valve are assembled concentrically so that they can be installed and removed as a whole. The main valve and possibly the diverting valve inevitably drag on their valve seats when the gas valve plug is turned, thereby cleaning the seats themselves.
Furthermore, means are given in order to be able to achieve any intermediate positions of the main valve by simply changing the amount of bypass gas for the pilot and heating flame depending on the current heat requirement.
