Pliers for clamping pipes, in particular bicycle frames. The present invention relates to an improvement on those known per se
EMI0001.0001
Za <SEP> gen <SEP> for <SEP> clamping <SEP> of <SEP> tubes, <SEP> into <SEP>) adere <SEP> bicycle frame, <SEP> as <SEP> you <SEP> at < SEP> Velo rel, <SEP> r, ratures <SEP> have been <SEP> in <SEP> use <SEP> for <SEP> years.
<tb> These <SEP> pliers <SEP> were <SEP> until now <SEP> throughout
<tb>;
Installed, <SEP> that <SEP> at the <SEP> rear <SEP> end <SEP> of <SEP> tilt .r, <SEP> above <SEP> clamping arm <SEP> a <SEP> screw
<tb> ') was <SEP>, <SEP> the <SEP> <SEP> on <SEP> the <SEP> are fixed under the <SEP> clamping arm <SEP> of the <SEP> pliers <SEP>.
<tb> h. <SEP> Turning <SEP> this <SEP> screw <SEP> could <SEP> a
<tb> s <SEP> Clamping <SEP> of a <SEP> frame tube <SEP> on
<tb> generating <SEP> of the <SEP> clamp <SEP> causes <SEP>. <SEP> The
<tb> iehtung <SEP> <SEP> but <SEP> had the <SEP> disadvantage, <SEP> that
<tb> screw <SEP> each <SEP> after <SEP> version <SEP> 15 <SEP> to
<tb> Jmgang <SEP> rotated <SEP> <SEP> had to, <SEP> to
<tb> Pliers jaws <SEP> from <SEP> the <SEP> opened <SEP> position
<tb> to move <SEP> clamp <SEP> to <SEP>.
<SEP> Thereby
<tb> e <SEP> makes <SEP> operation <SEP> of the <SEP> pliers <SEP> difficult,
<tb> r. <SEP> ._ <SEP> during <SEP> of the <SEP> whole <SEP> clamping process
<tb> the <SEP> .. 'wheel <SEP> had to be held <SEP> with <SEP> in a <SEP> hand <SEP>. In addition, both clamping and unclamping took too much time. In the pliers according to the present invention, these disadvantages are eliminated in that the pliers apart from the two clamping arms still have a lever, the whole thing in such a way that the pliers jaws instead of tightening the screw mentioned by a single pivoting movement of this lever in the clamping position, respectively . Open position can be brought.
The drawing shows a Ausführungsbei game of the subject invention. 1 shows the fixed clamping arm of the pliers, which is fastened in the usual way by means of a pin 5 in a stand. This clamping arm carries the bolt 3 in an upwardly directed fork, on which the movable clamping arm 2 is tiltably mounted. The rear end of this clamping arm is forked and carries the lever 6 which is rotatably mounted about the bolt 7 and which has an eccentric at its inner end. The eccentric itself is provided on its periphery, for example, with fine toothing which engages in a transverse rib at the support point on the fixed clamping arm in order to prevent the eccentric from coming loose by itself.
Instead of this toothing, other locking means can also be used, for example adhesion inserts made of rubber or a pawl etc. 4 represents the usual felt inserts in the jaws of the pliers to prevent damage to the clamped frame tube.
As can be seen from the drawing, the jaws of the pliers can be in the clamping position by a single pivoting movement of the lever, respectively. Bring to the open position.
