Hahn.
Ausführungsbeispiele des Erfindungsge genstandes sind auf .der beiliegenden Zeich- nung dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt einen Hahn mit dem Kugel ventil und einem vor demselben befindlichen zweiten Ventil im Aufriss, geschnitten; Fig. 2 zeigt ebenfalls im Aufriss, ge schnitten, einen Teil eines Hahnes, bei wel chem das zweite, vor dem Kugelventil ange ordnete Ventil gegenüber demselben nach der Fig. 1 anders ausgebildet ist und statt einen flachen, einen konisch nach vorn ver engten Ventilsitz besitzt;
Rooster. Taps with a built-in ball valve are known, see for example the by .das Switzerland. Patent no. 181609 protected cock.
The present invention relates to a tap with a built-in ball valve in which a particularly tight closure is guaranteed.
This tap according to the invention with a built-in ball valve is characterized in that there is at least one valve actuated by the same rod that moves the ball of the ball into the open position in the straw housing in front of the ball valve.
The valve seat .dieses respectively. these valves can be flat or conically narrowed towards the front. The ball of the ball valve can also be controlled by a spring, which can be adjustable, which tries to press the ball onto its seat.
Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown on the accompanying drawing. Fig. 1 shows a cock with the ball valve and a second valve located in front of the same in elevation, sectioned; Fig. 2 also shows in elevation, ge cut, part of a cock, in wel chem the second, in front of the ball valve is arranged valve compared to the same according to FIG. 1 is designed differently and instead of a flat, a conically forward ver narrowed valve seat owns;
3 shows a part of a cock in elevation, in section, in which the ball of the ball valve is pressed onto its valve seat by means of a spring.
a is a ball which, in the position shown, rests on the ball valve seat body c and in this state closes the opening in the valve seat body. The rod d, which in the position shown with the left end just touches the ball a, is extended to the right to the handle n and provided with the thread m.
A screw plug head of the tap housing is designated by g, in which head a stuffing box is installed and which carries the mating thread to the thread 7n. In the same thread in which the valve seat body c is screwed, a second valve seat body r is screwed in front of the same. q is the valve head for this valve, which is located on rod d.
In the embodiment of FIG. 1, the valve seat of the body r is flat respectively. lies in a radial plane. The valve disk q is designed to match.
In the embodiment of FIG. 2, the valve seat of the body r is conically narrowed to the right, and the valve plate q is formed accordingly.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, t is a helical spring which touches the ball a with the right end and rests with the left end against a ring s screwed into the cock body b. In addition, there is another valve of the type of the aforementioned valve q, r. in front of the ball valve
The purpose of the valve q, r is, in the closed position of the cock, in addition to the closure .by: the ball valve also has a closure. In the positions shown, the valve is closed twice. If you turn the handle n to the left, i.e. in the opposite direction of the clock pointer, the ball a is lifted from its seat and at the same time the valve disc q is removed from the valve seat body r , so that the flow medium at c can flow in and out of the tap.
So that the ball a lies fully on the valve seat body c even at low pressure, the same is permanently loaded by a spring, for example a conical screw benfeder t. By adjusting the ring s, the pressure of the spring t can be changed. There can of course be other means to change the spring pressure, and benfeder instead of a screw, other springs could achieve the same purpose.
The ball a can consist of a hard un elastic material, for example metal, or of an elastic material such as rubber.
The tap can be designed as a discharge path, as shown, or as a straight-way tap, and can be designed externally as desired.
It is used wherever other taps are used, for liquids, steam, air and gas, respectively. streaming media of all kinds.
There could of course be more than one valve operated by rod d in front of the ball valve.
