Interference suppression device. It is known that the contact under breaking points on electrical machines and devices to be bridged by capacitors, which then form a short circuit for the high-frequency interfering vibrations and prevent disruptive radiation over the network.
It has also already been established that the interference suppression effect is particularly favorable when suppressing interference in electrical machines with capacitors if several capacitors with different impedances are used simultaneously as a capacitor chain, i.e. in parallel connection, so that the frequency band of the interference oscillations is as wide as possible is captured.
This beneficial effect can, however, become ineffective again if the connecting lines between the interference suppression devices are too long and between the interferer and the interference devices.
Connecting lines that are too long not only re-radiate the interfering vibrations by acting as antenna structures, but the inductance of the lines also increases the harmful impedance of the interference suppression unit against the most transverse interfering vibrations.
In the interference suppression device according to the invention, which contains means preventing the propagation of high-frequency interference vibrations, the interference suppression means for achieving the smallest inductances of the connecting lines are housed within the interference suppression device, and for the purpose of simple assembly in a connection housing which is designed in such a way that it A construction of the interference suppression means directly in the line leading from the network to the interferer enables, in such a way,
that 'the one leading part of the line forms the continuation of the leading part of the line in the shortest possible way. The interference suppression means can consist of a capacitor or a chain of capacitors connected in parallel with different impedances and, if necessary, inductors, resistors and other interference suppression elements.
Due to the arrangement of the interference suppression means in a connection housing and the aforementioned formation of the latter, the supply lines of the current-carrying are. Mains line necessarily kept as short as possible. This also enables extremely easy installation, while any interventions in the interferer itself, such as design changes to the motor housing or any switchovers, are not required.
Since such interference suppression devices are mostly used outdoors or in damp rooms, the protective housing can be moisture-proof and designed with appropriate cable or pipe entries that allow the introduction of any installation material, e.g. insulating pipe, armored steel pipe or moisture-proof cable.
Two embodiments of the inven tion are shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows an interference suppression device with a simple cable or pipe entry in a plan view with the protective cap removed; Fig. 2 shows the protective cap from the front ...
On a base plate 1, two connection bars 2 are arranged, which are provided on both sides with suitable contact devices, for example screw terminals, through the one on the one. Side the incoming power line 3, on the other side the line 4 leading to the disturber is connected.
The real ones. Interference suppression capacitors 5, 6, etc. with different apparent resistances K6, g ", etc. are connected to the busbars 2 by means of contact tabs or wires.
The size of the capacitance of the various links in the capacitor chain depends on the type and strength of the interference, but for most interference fields a combination in which two chain links with a low-induction design are selected has proven to be expedient. One of the capacitors preferably has a capacity of 0.1 uF for the suppression of the interferences of the low waves. up to about 600 m.
The other capacitor is preferably designed with a capacitance of 1 , üF for the suppression of the disturbances in the area of the longer waves over 600 m. These capacities can be divided by series circuit in those of 2 X 0.2, uF respectively. 2 X?, U F. If the formation of a center tap on one or both links of the capacitor chain is necessary in order to establish a connection with the housing of the interferer or with the earth,
the connection of these can serve as a tap for the partial capacities. Contact pieces 9 are used to connect such connections.
The two connecting bars 2 can also serve to connect a discharge resistor 7 at the same time. The connecting rails 2 are preferably interrupted for the installation of fuses 8 for the devices to be suppressed, which are provided on the network side, so that they also respond if a capacitor breaks down.
The whole device is covered by a protective cap 10 safe to touch, which is provided with suitable pipe or cable entries. The device is watertight or water-tight for damp or potentially explosive rooms. explosion-proof. A can advantageously be in the protective housing. be provided by a transparent disk closed inspection hole through which the operating status of the fuses can be observed.
Connecting the capacitors directly to the continuous busbars inevitably avoids any current loop that has a negative impact on the interference suppression effect or excessively long connecting lines.
Fig. 3 shows the arrangement of the individual parts of a device in plan view, the protective box shown in section has in the lower part provided with threaded connection pieces; Fig. 4 illustrates the protective housing according to Fig. 3 in a side view in section.
The partial capacities C ,, C2, C3 of the Kon.- capacitor combination are housed in a housing 11, which with the. required capacitor connections 12 is provided. These connection terminals are electrically connected to the power supply terminals 13 in the actual protection or connection box 14 by means of screws and lugs.
The power supply terminals 13 are interchangeable, so that you can adapt to all normal cross-sections of the lines in which the device is switched on. The protection or junction box 14 be made of insulating material or metal, the lower part has suitable, threaded pipe socket 15 to allow the introduction of various installation material, for example insulating pipe, armored steel pipe or moisture-proof cable.
The cover 16 of the protective housing can be screwed to the lower part in a moisture-tight and explosion-proof manner.
The double capacitor C, C2 has two center taps, namely one with and one without protective capacitance Cs, which leads to corresponding terminals 17, 18 ge. The protective capacitance can be short-circuited using a tab or screw.
To: make the center tap of the capacitor accessible without opening the protective housing, one of the two fastening eyes 19 located on the lower part can be provided with a pressed-in metal disk 20, which is connected to the center tap by a pressed-in wire 21 or a suitable metal piece. terminals 17, 18 in which: Protective housing is connected.
In addition to the capacitors, other interference suppression elements, such as high-frequency choke coils, ohmic resistors, etc., can also be accommodated in the housing. The interference suppression elements can be exchanged thanks to their detachable fastening in the protective box, so that the interference suppression elements can be exchanged according to the adaptation to the disturbing machine or the like.
