Zerlegbares Segelboot.
Dismountable sailboat. The subject of the present invention is a collapsible sailboat, which is characterized by floats, which are attached to a frame, .der is releasably connected to a pyramid-shaped mast for stiffening against the torsional forces occurring during sailing.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is shown in three views.
The drawn sailboat has a frame 1, which is stiffened against torsion by an expediently three-part, pyramidenförmi gene mast 2 and the shrouds 3 required for the Abstagung union. The frame 1 carries a sword 4 and an oar 5 designed as a paddle, as well as two swimmers 6, and is provided with a waterproof bottom 7, .der is deepened between the swimmers.
The filling of the float 6 with air takes place automatically and without any special device because .the foldable floats stretched on the frame 1, which are made, for example, of a durable rubber skin, when hanging by lifting the boat due to their own weight endeavor to occupy the lowest possible position and therefore soak through the open valves 8 with air until they have reached their spindle-shaped shape.
If the valves 8 are now closed and the volume of the swimmers 6 is reduced by the cross member 9 provided for this purpose, which also prevents the swimmers from coming up when the boat is loaded, so that the trapped air is pressed ge, so the tension Float 6 and form an ideally smooth underwater hull.
The use of a special Füllvor direction (air pump or the like.) Is thus a thing of the past. On the other hand, if the air tension drops (as a result of cooling, etc.) during the journey, this can be used to inflate the swimmers more strongly again. The ends of the swimmers are expediently deformed in a wedge shape by means of a permanently built-in lightweight stem 10 in order to achieve sharply drawn out water lines. For the purpose of dismantling the boat, the dimensions are releasably connected to the frame.
The sword 4 is advantageously attached to a rail 13 on which the luff engages.
The connection of the sails with the Spie ren is solved at the leading edge 11 of the wind in such a way that the cloth is passed around the logs to form a sheath 12 and is connected to the sail area behind the spar. When the sail is inflated by the wind, the spars standing in the sheath 12 are lined with a stream of lines. The battens are inserted into the scabbard 12 and end in recesses in the spars. The increase in the efficiency of the sail area achieved in this way is, according to the investigations of Dr. Curry in the aerodynamic research institute Göttingen about 30%.
Due to the pyramid-shaped mast, the gaff can be placed vertically, which further improves the efficiency of the sail.
After removing the mast and .der sails: the boat, as it is, be placed on the ground so that a tent can be set up over the transverse girders 9. The floats filled with air, which serve as a base for the supports 9, insulate against cold and moisture; They therefore replace the previously customary air-filled mattresses, which each had to be specially carried.
All parts of the frame and the floor are detachably connected to one another. Because two swimmers are used (instead of just one, larger one), it is possible to fold the whole boat and take it with you as hand luggage.
The pyramid-shaped hat, which consists of three rods in the embodiment shown, can be used as a support for a tent sheet, which is looped around the parts of the mast located under the tip 2 '. This creates a kind of cabin, which can also be used as a tent to spend the night on the sand.
