Arrangement for the wireless reception of television pictures. The invention relates to an arrangement for the wireless reception of television pictures with a special design of the amplifier couplings, which give an improved image reproduction.
On the transmission side, a carrier wave, such as a 7 m wave, can be used, which is modulated at the same time with image frequency, synchronization controlfrequen.z and audio frequency, the modulation with synchronization control frequency and possibly audio frequency using intermediate waves. It is also possible to use several ultra short wave generators working on the same wave, each of which is modulated by the corresponding frequency to be transmitted who the. The frequency mixture is expediently emitted by a common antenna.
At the receiving end, the mixture can be picked up by an antenna circuit, which can be sharply tuned to ultra-frequency, and fed to a tube which is used simultaneously as a first rectifier and mixing tube and as an oscillator if the superimposed frequency to be generated is in of the order of magnitude of about 1000 m. The use of a special oscillator is advisable when using wesent Lich higher superimposed frequencies.
The antenna is advantageously sharply tuned: the antenna circuit can be made undetectable by gap isolation or by strong circular capacitance and small antenna coupling capacitance or by both. The maximum reception amplitude achieved in this way can be loosely coupled to the oscillator circuit, if necessary via a transformer.
The antenna circuit is expediently designed in such a way that long wave reception is definitely avoided. The intermediate frequency amplifier for amplifying the intermediate frequency and its sidebands consists of one or more amplifier stages, in whose working groups self-inductances with attenuation are provided,
which is dimensioned so large that the self-inductances do not start to oscillate with their build-up capacities. This avoids any plastic of the contours that would otherwise appear in the picture. The damping can be brought about by a resistor which is arranged parallel to the coils and which is in this way. is dimensioned so that a semi-periodic amplification of the intermediate frequency modulated with the television frequency band is possible.
The intermediate frequency obtained in the first tube becomes one - suitably consisting of two stages. - Intermediate frequency amplifier supplied. The intermediate frequency amplifier is advantageously designed as a semi-tuned amplifier. A self-induction can be arranged in the anode circuit of the amplifier, which is expediently dimensioned in such a way that the bandwidth resulting from the image frequency and carrier frequency is precisely adhered to.
It is possible to use anode coils in several stages and to detune them against one another in terms of band filters. The amplifier is advantageously formed in such a way that, with the exception of the calculated band, it absorbs virtually no waves or waves. sufficiently strong.
The intermediate frequency amplifier can also be provided with coils in band filter coupling in the anode circuit of the stages, whereby the band filter, in contrast to radio technology, is advantageously dimensioned in such a way that its width considerably exceeds the required bandwidth and the coupling and the tuning of the band filter circles like this it is chosen that the coupling member handles the outermost sideband frequencies at least as well,
expediently but transmits better than the sideband frequencies adjacent to the carrier wave. If intermediate frequency amplifiers with band filter coupling are used, a downstream equalization element may be omitted.
An audion, expediently a screen grid audion, in which the anode reaction is avoided, can be used for rectification. The use of the audio rectification is particularly useful for television rectification purposes, because the internal resistance of the audio is small and therefore good aperiodic rectification is possible with a low external resistance.
The sensitivity control is made before geous behind the last rectification. . This ensures that 1. the reception and hum mirror are always regulated in the same ratio, 2. the rectifier is excited when receiving strong stations with a large amplitude and is therefore used with good efficiency and 3.
@that detuning by manual capacities cannot occur and interferences are harmless, so that shielding may be unnecessary because the controller, i.e. the output circuit of the audion itself, has low resistance. The control is noiseless when it is used on the grille side.
When using half-tuned intermediate amplifiers, a drop in the high side frequencies cannot be avoided. It is therefore expediently arranged an equalization element behind the rectifier.
Since the carrier wave must be kept away from the low frequency amplifier and image receiver and the frequency difference between the carrier wave and the highest occurring image frequency is only small, the equalization element is advantageously dimensioned such that it has a particularly sharp edge steepness. The increase in the highest frame rate is expediently only driven so far that the increase circles still remain aperiodic.
This avoids the plastic that occurs when these circles oscillate in the television picture. The synchronous frequencies can be sifted out using sharply delimited circles which are loosely coupled to the anode circuit of the audion and, after rectification and amplification, fed to the control devices, for example the tilting device.
The audio frequencies can also be screened out by sharply tuned circles loosely coupled to the anode circuit of the audion and, after appropriate amplification, etc., be fed to a suitable loudspeaker.
Carrier waves are expediently used on the transmission side as the carrier wave for synchronism and sound, which are longer than the intermediate frequency wave on the receiving side, but shorter than the shortest picture wave that occurs. For a 90-line image, a 1000 in wave can be used as the carrier wave for the sound. The receiving-side bearing shaft then receives a maximum wavelength of 500 m, suitably less. Assuming a 500 m superimposed wave, the repeater must therefore have a bandwidth of 1000 to 330 m.
When using a band filter coupling, the same is expediently measured in such a way that the required band is let through in abundance.
Sedatives known per se are expediently used for all amplifier stages. The first oscillator stage, for example, is calmed down to such an extent that it has less than 1% anode ripple. The ultra-frequency can be kept completely away from the heating circuit and from the anode voltage source by suitable means, for example throttles.
An embodiment of the inventive arrangement is shown in the figure for example.
1 means the anode circuit with the capacitor 51 and the coil 52, 2, which is sharply tuned to the ultra-short wave, the resonant circuit of the superimposer with the coil 6, the fixed capacitor 3 and the fine-tuning capacitor 4 arranged parallel to it.
This capacitor arrangement ensures that the intermediate frequency wave can only be set in a small range (range of great effectiveness). 7 is the first stage in which the first, rectification, generation of the intermediate frequency and mixing takes place, 8:
the first, 33 the second intermediate amplifier stage. The two intermediate frequency amplifier stages are, as explained above, to the required, rich Lich to be measured bandwidth, for example using the self-inductions 10 respectively. 18th
and -the damping resistor 11 respectively. 17 see agreed upon. 9 is an ultra-frequency choke, which keeps the 7 in-wave away from the downstream elements.
34 is the audio coupled via a capacitor 19. The sound arrangement 22 and the synchronous arrangement are connected to the anode circuit of the audion by means of the coils 20 and 27 and on the sound respectively. Synchronous carrier shaft sharply tuned,
from the coils 21 respectively. 28 and the corresponding Kon capacitors 29 and 30 respectively. 53 existing circles inductively loosely coupled. Between the audion and the audio from the two systems. 41 and 42 existing low-frequency amplifiers, the equalization element 54 is arranged, which can for example consist of the resistors 35 and 38, the capacitors 36, 49 and 37, and the coil 48.
The brightness control voltage is taken off via the capacitor 46 and fed to the receiving device, for example the Braun tube.
The receiver is suitably equipped with multiple tubes. It is expedient to use double tubes in which the anode resistor of the first system and the grid leakage resistor of the second system are built into the tube vacuum. The anode line of the first system is not before geous enough, as previously usual, connected within the vacuum to the grid of the second system, but rather the anode line and grid line are led out.
This makes it possible to use ver different coupling capacitors and to use the same tube, both in the high frequency, as well as in the intermediate and low frequency parts.
The double tube thus allows a considerable simplification of the overall structure.
