Description
1 ist der Zahnboden, über den der Zahn 2 vorragt. 3 sind nutenartige Versenkungen, eine an jeder -Zahnflanke, welche Versen kungen sich über die ganze Zahnflanken länge erstrecken und bei der dargestellten Ausführung an der Teilungslinie 4 angeord net sind, wo der Zahndruck;
Device on helical teeth, which ensures a more even distribution of tooth pressure over the tooth flanks. With helical teeth, both single and double, which the latter occur on so-called arrow wheels, there is the disadvantage, especially with larger pitches, that the working tooth flanks soon become uneven. This is often due to imperfections in the tool with which the teeth are made. The damage to the tooth flank is mostly localized on and along the dividing lind, where the tooth pressure appears to be greatest.
This inconvenience is to be remedied in the device on helical teeth, according to the present invention by the fact that the tooth flanks are countersunk on the parts that are exposed to the greatest tooth pressure when the tooth flank is not countersunk, for the purpose of achieving a more even pressure distribution over the tooth flanks, whereby local overexertion of the material is prevented. The flank countersinking or countersinking also have the advantage that they can form a collection and distribution space for lubricants,
which is thus better fed to the tooth flanks than is otherwise the case.
The attached drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a part of a helical gear in plan view; Fig. 2 shows this part in an end view, and Fig. 3 is an axial section.
1 is the bottom of the tooth over which tooth 2 protrudes. 3 are groove-like countersinks, one on each tooth flank, which countersinks extend over the entire tooth flank length and are net angeord in the illustrated embodiment at the division line 4, where the tooth pressure;
as experience has shown, is the greatest. In such exceptional cases, where the greatest pressure can arise radially outside or inside the dividing line, the recesses can of course be arranged in a corresponding manner. The countersinks do not need to extend over the entire tooth flank length.
