Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr.<B>180959.</B> Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen Azofarbstoff erhält, wenn man diazotiertes 1-Amino-5-chlorbenzol-2-inethylsulfon in sau rem Medium mit 2-Amino-8-ogynaphthalin- 0-sulfonsäure vereinigt.
Der so erhältliche Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles Pulver und färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in roten Tönen von sehr guter Licht echtheit und zeichnet sich dureh ein hervor ragendes Egalisiervermögen aus. <I>Beispiel:</I> 205 Teile 1-Amino-5-:
chlorbenzol-2-me- t,liyIsulfon werden in salzsaurer Lösung in üblicher Weise mit 70 Teilen Natriumnitrit diazotiert. Zu der Diazolösung lässt man eine neutrale Lösung von 23'9 Teilen 2-Amino-8- oxynaplithalin-6-sulfonsäure zutropfen. Man rührt, bis die Kupplung, die man gegebenen- falls durch sorgfältige Zugabe säurebinden der oder abstumpfender Zusätze beschleu nigt, beendet ist.
Hierauf wird die Lösung neutral gestellt und ausgesalzen, worauf der Farbstoff filtriert und getrocknet wird.

The dyestuff obtainable in this way forms a dark powder and dyes wool from an acid bath in red shades of very good lightfastness and is characterized by an excellent leveling power. <I> Example: </I> 205 parts 1-Amino-5-:
2-chlorobenzene-2-methyl sulfone are diazotized in a hydrochloric acid solution in the customary manner with 70 parts of sodium nitrite. A neutral solution of 23.9 parts of 2-amino-8-oxynaplithalin-6-sulfonic acid is added dropwise to the diazo solution. The mixture is stirred until the coupling, which may be accelerated by careful addition of acid-binding additives or additives that cause them to dull, has ended.
The solution is then made neutral and salted out, whereupon the dye is filtered and dried.
