Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 1.80959. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoifes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen Azofa.rbstoff erhält, wenn man diazotiertes 1-Aminobenzol-2-methylsulfon in saurem Me dium mit \2-Phenylamino-8-oxynaphthalin-6- sulfonsäure vereinigt.
Der so erhältliche Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles Pulver und färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in blauroten Tönen von guter Licht echtheit und zeichnet sich durch ein hervor- ragendes Egalisiervermögen aus.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 171 Teile 1-Aminobenzol-2-methylsulfon werden in salzsaurer Lösung in üblicher 'U', Eise mit 70 Teilen Natriumnitrit diazo- tiert. Zu der Diazolösung lässt man eine neu trale Lösung von 317 Teilen 2-Phenylamino- - oxynaphthalin - 6 - sulfonsäure zutropfen. Man rührt, bis die Kupplung,
die man ge- gebenenfalls durch sorgfältige Zugabe säure bindender oder abstumpfender Zusätze be schleunigt, beendet ist. Hierauf wird die Lösung neutral gestellt und ausgesalzen, worauf der Farbstoff filtriert und getrocknet wird.

The dye obtainable in this way forms a dark powder and dyes wool from an acid bath in blue-red shades of good lightfastness and is characterized by excellent leveling properties.
<I> Example: </I> 171 parts of 1-aminobenzene-2-methylsulfone are diazotized with 70 parts of sodium nitrite in a hydrochloric acid solution in the customary 'U', ice. A neutral solution of 317 parts of 2-phenylamino-oxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid is added dropwise to the diazo solution. Stir until the clutch
