Luntenverdiehter an Streckwerken.
Fig. 1 ist eine Seitenansicht des in ein Streckwerk eingelegten Luntenverdichters mit teilweisem Schnitt durch die Längsmitte der Zylinder; Fig. 2 ist eine Draufsicht des auf Vorder- und Mittelzylinder des Streckwerkes gelager ten Luntenverdichters; Fig. 3 ist eine Seitenansicht des Unter teils des Luntenverdichterhalters und Fig. 4 ist eine Vorderansicht hierzu;
Sliver winners on drafting systems. The invention relates to a sliver compactor on drafting systems in which a guide rod carrying the compaction guides is slidably mounted in a holder.
The known sliver compactors of this type, which lie directly on the front cylinder pair, have the disadvantage that the compaction guides are unable to follow the sideways movements of the roving easily enough, since the friction of the compaction guides against the rollers must be overcome.
Other sliver compactors, on the other hand, which are arranged further away from the front roller pair, again do not fully fulfill their purpose, since the slivers have time to expand again on the way from the compression guides to the nip of the front roller pair.
Furthermore, the known sliver compactors are only suitable for installation in a specific drafting system and cannot be used for drafting systems with different cylinder spacings or cylinder positions.
Among the roving compactors fixed in place in the drafting system, there are also those in which the compaction guides, which can be easily moved laterally on a guide rod, are brought very close to the pinch point of the front roller pair and cause little friction against the front roller pair. However, due to their fixed arrangement, these sliver compactors are not easy to install and remove and can only be used for a very specific drafting system.
The present invention is to create a sliver compactor on drafting systems with a guide rod that can be displaced in a holder and on which the compression guides are mounted laterally displaceable, in which the holder is adjustable in such a way that it is easy to move in and out of drafting systems of different cylinder distances can be removed, and which is mounted on the front and middle cylinder in such a way
that in all cases the compression guides are brought very close and smoothly to the clamping point of the front roller pair.
For this purpose, the holder carrying the guide rods for the compression guides has a part provided with a recess intended for storage on the front roller circumference and a part provided with a fork to support against the central roller and displaceably and lockably mounted on the former holder part Part on.
To secure the laterally displaceable compression guides on the guide rod in a smooth position against the pair of rollers before, the guide rod in the holder and the laterally displaceable compression guides on the guide rod are conveniently stored non-rotatably ge.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the sliver compressor is shown according to the invention.
1 is a side view of the sliver compactor inserted in a drafting system, with a partial section through the longitudinal center of the cylinders; Fig. 2 is a plan view of the sliver compactor stored on the front and center cylinders of the drafting system; Fig. 3 is a side view of the lower portion of the sliver compactor holder and Fig. 4 is a front view thereof;
FIG. 5 is a side view of the forked upper part of the drafting device holder and FIG. 6 is a front view of this. In the illustrated sliver compactor, the compacting guides 1, known per se, are mounted on a profiled guide rod 2 by means of a corresponding mounting so that they cannot rotate but are displaceable along the rod.
In the case shown, the guide rod has two edges formed by a flat and a curved longitudinal surface. Edged nuts 3 are screwed onto both ends of the guide rod 2 and secure the compression guides 1 against falling out. Through these nuts 3 an easy exchange availability of the compression guides is made light.
This is of particular importance in order to be able to use compression guides adapted to the coarse and fine weave numbers as required. As shown in Fig. 2, a plurality of compression guides can be arranged on the guide rod according to the number of slivers guided by the drafting system. The guide rod 2 itself is non-rotatably but displaceably mounted in a holder.
The holder consists of a lower part 4 and an upper part 5 arranged thereon so as to be displaceable and lockable. The lower part 4 is a U-shaped bent sheet metal piece, the side parts of which have a semicircular recess 6. In this lower part, the guide rod 2 is slidably superimposed ge in corresponding bearing holes 7 of the sides.
The upper part 5 of the holder consists of a rectangular sheet metal part with both sides folded down guide edges 8 for guidance on the lower part 4. The upper part 5 has at one end a middle tongue 9 and two lateral, gabelför shaped downward tongues 10 .
In the middle of the upper part 5, a longitudinal slot 11 running parallel to the guide edges 8 is punched out. By means of a locking screw 12, which is used in a Ge threaded hole of the lower part 4, and on which the displaceability of the upper part 5 is limited by the longitudinal slot 11, the upper part 5 can be set in any position relative to the lower part 4 GE.
The sliver compactor described is not permanently mounted on the drafting system, but only placed on the lower front cylinder c and the central cylinder d after lifting the upper front cylinder a and the drafting cylinder frame b,
that the holder with its semicircular recesses 6 rests on the circumference of the front cylinder c on the central recess and engages over the recess of the central cylinder d by means of its forked tongues 9, 10. Depending on the distance between the central cylinder d and the front cylinder c, the forked upper part 5 is ordered and set with respect to the lower part 4.
The position of the sliver compactor in the drafting system is precisely determined by the recesses G and the forked tongues 9, 10 of the holder and the guide rod 2 carrying the compaction guides 1 is inserted in this holder so that the compaction guides 1 are very close to the front rolling -a pair of hands without touching the same.
In this way, it is possible to bring the rovings almost up to the clamping point of the front roller pair a, c while maintaining a playfully easy lateral displacement of the compression guides 1. Thus, the compression guides 1 can almost the sideways movements of the roving follow smoothly, which largely avoids rivet breakage.
The adjustability of the two-part holder makes it possible to adapt and use the roving compactor for drafting works with different cylinder spacings and cylinder positions.
