Appareil de publicité lumineuse. L'invention concerne un appareil de publi cité lumineuse comportant un miroir trans parent à travers lequel sont visibles des images qui sont portées par une bande se déplaçant sous l'action d'un dispositif de commande approprié.
Les appareils de publicité permettent une publicité qui attire et retient d'autant plus l'attention du public que le nombre (l'image: qu'ils permettent de voir est plus lyrand.
Dans les appareils réalisés jusqu'ici la bande portant les images était., soit sans fin el passait sur des tambours dont certains ser vaient à, son entraînement, soit enroulée < l chacune de ses extrémités sur un tambour et se déroulait tantôt dans un sens, tantôt dans l'autre sens. Dans le premier cas la longueur de la bande était limitée par l'enroulement maximum qu'il était possible de donner aux appareils de publicité, alors que dans 1 e second cas il fallait avoir recours à un dis positif capable de permettre l'entraînement de la. bande d'images dans un sens et dans l'autre alternativement et partant qui était assez compliqué.
Selon l'invention, la bande portant les images, qui est supportée par un tambour en traîné de façon intermittente par un disposi tif à "Croix de Malte", comporte transver salement de distance en distance, des tiges dont les extrémités viennent reposer à tour de rôle sur deux guides parallèles faisant s'empiler les unes sur les autres sous l'aetion de leur propre poids les tiges que comporte le brin de la bande qui se déroule de dessus le tambour et dont chaque portion séparant, deux tiges forme un pli, ce qui permet de loger une bande très longue sous un volume restreint,
l'enroulement de l'autre brin de la bande sur le tambour provoquant le glisse ment des tiges sur les guides et leur dés- empilage par suite d e la, tension exercée.
A simple titre d'exemple et pour faci liter la, compréhension de l'invention, il a été décrit ci-dessous avec références au dessin annexé une forme d'exécution dudit appareil de publicité: Fig. 1 est une vue schématique en éléva tion de l'appareil, la face avant étant en levée pour rendre visible le mécanisme; Fig. 2 est une vue schématique de profil en coupe suivant 2-2 fig. 1.
L'appareil de publicité représenté au des sin annexé est constitué par une boîte 1 dont la face avant présente une ouverture 2 der rière laquelle est.fixé un miroir transparent 3, à travers lequel sont visibles les images de publicité qui sont portées par une bande sans fin 4.
La boîte 1 renferme le dispositif de sup port et d'entraînement de la. bande sans fin 4. Celui-ci est constitué par un tambour 5 monté sur un arbre 6 et entraîné en rotation de façon intermittente, par l'intermédiaire d'un train d'engrenages 7, et ce, grâce à un système à "Croix de Malte" 8 dont le pla teau d'entraînement 9 reçoit son mouvement d'un moteur électrique 10, des systèmes ré ducteurs appropriés 11 .étant intercalés entre ledit plateau 9 et ledit moteur 10 à la ma nière connue.
Le tambour 5 supporte la bande sans fin -1 qui -comporte de distance en distance des tiges 1? disposées transversalement et dont les extrémités dépassent de chaque côté de ladite bande.
Les extrémités des tiges 12 se déplacent dans deux guides 13 de section en U disposés parallèlement et affectant la forme générale d'un<B>0</B> très allongé dont la partie supérieure est à la même hauteur que la partie supé rieure du tambour 5, de façon que les extré mités des tiges 12 que comporte le brin de la bande 4 qui s'enroule sur le tambour 5 se déplaçant dans un côté des guides 13, alors que les extrémités des tiges 1 2 que comporte le brin de la bande 4 qui se déroule de dessus le tambour 5 se déplacent dans l'autre côté desdits guides 13.
Le brin de la bande 4 qui s'enroule sur le tambour 5 est disposé contre le miroir transparent 3 -et il est tendu du fait du poids des tiges 12. Les tiges 12 du brin de la bande 4 qui se déroule de dessus le tambour 5 et qui prennent appui par leurs deux extré- mités à la, partie inférieure des guides 13, s'empilent les unes sur les autres du fait de leur poids en faisant faire un pli 14 à. chaque portion de la bande 4 comprise entre deux tiges 12, ce qui permet de loger une bande très longue sous un très petit volume.
Le tambour 5 comporte latéralement de chaque côté des dents 15 qui viennent en con tact avec les extrémités des tiges 12 et per mettent l'entraînement de la bande 4 sans glis- ement-, le tambour 5 étant ea.lé par rapport s<B>s</B> à la "Croix de Malte" 8, et les dents 15 étant réparties à la périphérie du tambour 5 de manière qu'à chaque arrêt de la bande 4 une image ou une portion de la bande 4 comprise entre deux tiges 12 se trouve en face du miroir transparent 3.
Des lampes 16, disposées derrière le brin de la bande 4 défilant devant le miroir 3. éclairent celle-ci et permettent par suite de sa transparence la vision des images qu'elle porte. Les tiges 12 peuvent être fixées sur la bande -1 par tous moyens appropriés, ou ser vir à l'assemblage des différents élément constituant la bande, ce qui permet de faire varier à. volonté sa longueur ou de changer les images qu'elle porte.
L'originalité de la publicité peut être aug mentée en intercalant entre des éléments por tant des images des éléments opaques de manière qu'à certains moments le miroir 3 devienne réfléchissant, lorsqu'il n'est plus éclairé par derrière et qu'on ait l'impression d'apparition d'images dans le miroir.

The advertising apparatus shown in the attached drawings consists of a box 1, the front face of which has an opening 2 behind which is fixed a transparent mirror 3, through which the advertising images which are carried by a band are visible. endless 4.
Box 1 contains the device for supporting and driving the. endless belt 4. This consists of a drum 5 mounted on a shaft 6 and driven in rotation intermittently, by means of a gear train 7, and this, thanks to a system "Cross of Malta "8, the drive plate 9 of which receives its movement from an electric motor 10, appropriate reduction systems 11 being interposed between said plate 9 and said motor 10 in the known manner.
The drum 5 supports the endless belt -1 which -comporte distance in distance of the rods 1? arranged transversely and the ends of which protrude from each side of said strip.
The ends of the rods 12 move in two guides 13 of U-shaped section arranged in parallel and having the general shape of a very elongated <B> 0 </B> whose upper part is at the same height as the upper part of the drum 5, so that the ends of the rods 12 that comprises the strand of the strip 4 which winds on the drum 5 moving in one side of the guides 13, while the ends of the rods 1 2 that comprises the strand of the band 4 which unwinds from above the drum 5 moves in the other side of said guides 13.
The strand of the strip 4 which winds on the drum 5 is placed against the transparent mirror 3 -and it is stretched due to the weight of the rods 12. The drum 5 comprises laterally on each side teeth 15 which come into contact with the ends of the rods 12 and allow the belt 4 to be driven without slipping, the drum 5 being raised with respect to s <B > s </B> to the "Maltese Cross" 8, and the teeth 15 being distributed around the periphery of the drum 5 so that at each stop of the strip 4 an image or a portion of the strip 4 between two rods 12 is in front of the transparent mirror 3.
Lamps 16, arranged behind the strand of the strip 4 running in front of the mirror 3, illuminate the latter and, as a result of its transparency, allow the vision of the images it carries.
