Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Verfahrens gemäss der Erfindung, bei welchem für alle Ziehstufen ein und derselbe Stempel verwen det wird, ist in der Zeichnung in verschie denen Stadien schematisch veranschaulicht. Fig. 1 zeigt einen Schnitt durch einen fer tigen Behälter, wobei durch wagreclite, strichpunktierte Linien angedeutet ist, wie der Behälter in den verschiedenen Stufen wurde;
die Fig. 3 bis 5 stellen die Einzel phasen der Ziehvorgänge dar, und zwar im Schnitt. durch die Ziehwerkzeuge, -während die 6 bis 9 Draufsichten auf die Zieh- rahinen finit ihren Ausnehmungen darstellen, wobei gestrichelt die zu jeder Zwischenform des Werkstückes gehörige Randumgrenzung des wagrechten Blechrandes angedeutet ist;
die F ig. 10 zeigt in Draufsicht einen Zieh rahmen mit Ziehsielen, deren Längsachse quer zur Bewegungsrichtung des Materials leim Ziehen liegt, während die Fig. 11 in @rröherein Masstsab einen Querschnitt nach der Linie 11-11 der Fig. 10 durch einen Teil des Ziehrahmens veranschaulicht;
die Fig. 1 \? -neigt in Draufsicht und die Fig. 13 im Schnitt nach der Linie 13-l3 der Fig.-1- in grösserem Massstab einen Ziehrahmen mit Zielisieken, deren Längsachse in der Be- wegungsrichtung des Werkstückes an der betreffenden Stelle ist;

The -N \ Tarmziehverfali- ren, in which the drawing process is carried out in several stages, suffered the problem that the Werlistiiek must be preheated between the individual stages of the work process. The drawback of the painting targeting method is that (the workpiece tends to wrinkle or get wrinkles that have to be removed by hand afterwards by knocking out.
These disadvantages occur to a greater extent in the manufacture of containers with selirä- gen side walls. The cold drawing should

the Fig. 1 \? 13 inclines in plan view and FIG. 13 in section along the line 13-13 of FIG. 1- on a larger scale, a drawing frame with targets, the longitudinal axis of which is in the direction of movement of the workpiece at the relevant point;
FIGS. 14 and 1.5 show a modified embodiment of the drawing bars; Fig. 16 shows a bathtub, the side walls of which are provided with expansion chungen in two aufeinan the vertical directions, in plan view. and FIG. 17 in cross section, while FIGS. 13 and 19 show, on a larger scale, a means for fastening a foot to the bathtub in cross section. show in plan view.
As can be seen from FIGS. 3 to 9, the large-capacity container is manufactured in several stages. It is the flat sheet metal piece 1, the cross-sectional shape of which strieliel in Fig. ly and whose outline is shown in phantom in Fig. 6, between the holding frame? and 3 clamped, which have a central opening 4 and together represent a pulling frame. The sheet metal piece is beveled at the corners at 5. The two holding frames are inserted into a table 6 of the drawing machine.
The holding frame, which are provided with a substantially flat clamping surfaces for the sheet metal edge, are pressed against each other by a force, in the direction of the arrow p in FIG. A punch 7 of the drawing machine pulls the middle part of the sheet metal piece through the recess 4 over the edge serving as the drawing edges, the lower part of the punch 7, which works without a counter punch, has a shape that the sheet metal during the first drawing stage. the shape of the bottom of the finished container is there.
The bottom (Fig. 1) and the wall part I are thus formed. The edge of the sheet metal piece moves essentially radially inwards and its tear line after the first drawing step according to FIG. is shown in Fig. 6 in dashed lines. and denoted by 1 (1.
The drawing line?, 3 is now replaced by the drawing frame 11, 1? he sets and that according to Fig.? preformed sheet metal piece. between the holding frames 11 and 1? clamped (Fig. 3). These holding frames () have a larger opening 13 than the holding frames? and 3. In Fig. 3 it is shown in dashed lines how the sheet metal piece lies before the next partial drawing process.
In the second drawing stage, the wall part 1I is drawn by the drawing punch while the bottom 8 remains the same. Since the edge of the metal sheet lying between the holding frame moves radially inward and its outer contour line assumes the shape denoted by 14 in FIG. 7. Here at FIG. 7 shows a plan view of the holding frames 11 and 12 with the Ziehöff opening 13.
The intermediate form is now removed from the holding frames 11 and 12 and these holding frames are exchanged for holding frames 16 and 17, the opening 18 of which, as can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 8, is larger (wider) than the off tion 13 of the holding frame 11 and 12. The position of the intermediate form before the next drawing process is shown in Fig. 4 with dashed lines Darge. In the third drawing process that now follows, the wall part III is added to the wall parts I and I1. Again, the edge of the intermediate mold waned between the holding frames 16 and 17 a little bit inwards.
After this drawing process, in which the same punch 7 is used as in the previous drawing processes. the edge has the broken line shown in FIG. 8 and denoted by 20. It is now drawn from this intermediate form according to FIG. 4 of the fer term container in FIGS. 1 and 5. For this purpose, the holding frames 16 and 17 according to FIG. 4 are exchanged for holding frames 21 and 22, then made by the punch 7 from the intermediate shape shown in dashed lines in FIG.
In this case, the wall part IV is added to the wall parts I. 1I and III formed in the first three drawing stages.
The position of the edge of this shape of the workpiece is shown in FIG. 9 is shown by dashed lines and designated 23. This figure also shows that the central opening? .1 of the holding frames 21 and 22 is larger than the openings of all the previous frames. After unclamping the workpiece from the holding frame 21 and 22 according to FIG. The workpiece has the finished tub shape and the edge is ready for the usual production of the edge bead after approximately necessary gem grinding and trimming.
When executing the process, a shallow, essentially corresponding to the lower part of the finished container, is first made from the workpiece and then the wall of the container is applied to this preform in several successive steps, avoiding a counter punch (die ) added step by step by retightening the still undeformed sheet metal edge, in such a way that the opening of the workpiece after the first drawing step gradually widens to the full opening of the finished, raw container,
wherein the increase in the opening width of the shaped part at each drawing stage is expediently related to the increase in its height.
In all drawing processes, one and the same punch 7 is used, which has the outer shape of the finished hollow shape of the work piece and which penetrates deeper and deeper into the holding frame according to the individual drawing processes.
Fig. 1 shows the Clesamtauf construction of the large-capacity container, with the wall parts built up according to the drawing phases according to Fig. 2 to 5 in the order in which they are produced, denoted by 1 to IV. The heights of these @ Va.nd parts formed in the individual stages are indicated by dash-dotted lines.
It corresponds to the distance of the dash-dotted line a from the inner bottom part of the finished form F to the depth of the drawing process according to FIG. 2, the distance of the line a from line b to the depth of the drawing process according to FIG. 3,
the distance of the line b from the line c of the depth of the drawing process 5cinä ss of FIG. 4 and the distance of the line c from the line d of the depth of the drawing process according to Flg. J.

After the drawing process has ended, the beaded edge 58 or, if desired, a flat band can be pressed and the edge can be trimmed.
For the purpose of securing fissures, I are formy. - # cranked sheet metal pieces 59 (Fig. 18 and 19) electrically welded to the bottom of the tub before the finished drawn Anne is enamelled. The head of the feet is pushed into these sheet metal pieces between the bend and the socket and fastened with screws.
Only limited heating of the tub is necessary, so that the strength of the cold-drawn sheet is not reduced.
It is an advantage of the process that it enables the production of containers with walls inclined to the floor while the workpiece (sheet metal or the like) is clamped between flat surfaces, regardless of whether the side walls are inclined in only one cross-sectional plane or in all cross-sectional planes are directed towards the ground. With such flat surfaces, wear is irrelevant, but such clamping surfaces have the advantage that they result in a flat edge part which is perpendicular to the container axis and which can easily be formed into a bead-like or similar edge.
