Drive device on 3i machines for casting stereotype plates and back-casting of electroplants. The invention relates to a drive device on machines for casting stereotype plates and for back casting of electroplants.
According to the invention, on the one hand, to open and close the boiler closure member and, on the other hand, to close and start up, as well as to move down and open the casting mold, an oscillating toothed circle arc is provided, which is moved by a special cam track.
The advantages of this device are that all drive parts can be accommodated in a crowded space and the movements of both the boiler closure element and the casting mold. are inevitably dependent on each other.
The curved tracks are expediently seen on both sides of a worm wheel, the driving worm of which is arranged at the bottom of a closed housing, the upper part of which surrounds the worm wheel with some clearance, while the oscillating toothed arc in the side walls of the housing on both sides, but within the circumference of the worm wheel are mounted.
A drive of this type is characterized by the greatest simplicity; it is also .very .reliable because all parts can run in an oil bath.
On -der drawing is an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is exemplified; It shows: Fig. 1 is a side view of the drive device, Fig. 2 is a floor plan after removal of the worm wheel, and Fig. 3 is a cross section through the worm gear and the housing.
The worm d is driven by the motor a through the friction or claw coupling c, which can be switched on and off by means of the lever b, and the worm wheel e through it. On both sides of the worm wheel e there is a respective cam groove f respectively. g provided, of which .the groove f for moving the casting mold and the groove g for opening the metal outlet from the melting vessel regulating the organ is used.
A roller h or the like engages in the groove f on a toothed arch k which is freely pivotable around the pin i, and a roller l </ I in the groove g > Or the like on the dental arch m, which can also swing around the pin i. The dental arch k is always in mesh with the gear n and the dental arch m with the gear o. The crank p that moves the casting mold rotates with the gear n, while the crank q that moves the metal outlet on the melting kettle rotates with the gear o.
With one revolution of the worm wheel e, the mold and the closing element on the melting vessel describe all movements that are necessary for the casting process. This is because the mold is closed by the curve f, the tooth arch k, : the gear wheel n and the crank p and approached to the Sehmelzkessel and the boiler closure member Curve g, the tooth arch in, the gear o and the crank q open.
After a few seconds, the boiler closing element closes again by arranging the same parts, whereupon the casting mold is moved from the boiler and opened. As soon as the mold is opened. is, the cam r triggers the .Locking s of the lever b, so that the clutch c is disengaged by the spring t.
A housing u surrounds the transmission with only a small amount of space. The .Schnecke d is arranged at the bottom of the housing; the upper part of the housing u is arched according to the worm wheel e and the toothed arcs k, m are mounted on the side walls of the housing w within .the circumference of the worm wheel e, so that the whole Drive housed in a small box who can that contains an oil bath.
