Description

     Pflanzensehutzkappe.

Fig. 2 eine Ansicht im Aufriss,
Fig. 4 einen Grundriss zu Fig. 1 und 2 und
Fig. 5 einen Grundriss zu Fig. 3.

     Plant protection cap.

The object of the invention is a plant protection cap which consists of a jacket which is open at the bottom and top and at least approximately in the form of a section of cone and which can be any material. The cap is intended to be put over the freshly planted plant to be protected in order to protect it against animal pests as well as against weather influences such as sun, frost, drought, etc. and thus to achieve accelerated growth.

Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. Show it :
1 shows a cross-section in elevation through a protective cap with circular openings,
2 is a view in elevation,
3 shows a view of a protective cap with oval openings,
4 shows a plan view of FIGS. 1 and 2 and
FIG. 5 shows a floor plan for FIG. 3.

The protective cap is formed by a conical shell 1, which is cut from above and below, so that openings 2 and 3 are created. At one point the jacket 1 is overlapped and closed by sticking 4.

The openings 2 and 3 can be oval, for example, or have any other shape, depending on the number of plants to be protected together.

To protect against animal pests, in particular snails, a special design can be implemented by impregnating the cap with a protective coating that keeps away or destroys the pests. For plants that need a lot of sun immediately, but must be protected from any draft, the protective cap is expediently made of a transparent, clear material that is water-resistant.

To protect the protective cap against being carried away by the wind, it can conveniently have small bores or eyelets on the lower edge of the jacket, through which pins that are to be pushed deep into the ground can be inserted and hold the cap in place.
