Verfahren zur Herstellung von Cigarillos, Stumpen und Kopfzigarren. Die Herstellung von Kopfzigarren wird derart vorgenommen, dass man für jedes ein zelne Stück dem Tabakwickel von Hand die gewünschte Form erteilt, in eine Form bringt, presst und denselben dann in ein Deckblatt einspinnt, wie die technische Bezeichnung für das Einwickeln lautet, und hierauf das Deckblatt nur am Ende (Mundstük) zuklebt.
Im Gegensatz dazu werden die Stumpen hergestellt, indem man den zylindrischen und konischen Wickel von Hand oder mit einer Wickelmaschine mit Wachstuch herstellt und hierauf in ein Deckblatt einspinnt, das mit Klebstoff derart versehen ist, dass das ganze Deckblatt verklebt wird.
Die auf diese Art ohne Form hergestellten Zigarren sind gekennzeichnet durch unregel mässige, holperige Form und ungleichmässig verlaufenden Querschnitt.
Bei der Herstellung von Cigarillos, das sind Zigarren, die sich von einem Ende gröss ten Querschnittes gegen das andere Ende hin konisch verjüngen, ist man bis jetzt derart vorgegangen; dass man einen entsprechend geformten Wickel herstellte und diesen einzeln, in der bekannten Weise wie Kopfzigarren, eingesponnen hat.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt nun ein vereinfachtes und wirtscbaftlicheres Ver fahren zurHerstellung von Cigarillos, Stumpen und Kopfzigarren. Dieses ist dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man einem Tabakwickel durch Pressen in einer Form eine beidseitig konisch zulaufende Gestalt verleiht, hierauf in ein mit Klebstoff ganz bestrichenes Deckblatt ein sein nt und das so erhaltene Gebilde halbiert.
Man ist dadurch in der Lage, unter Ver wendung einer einzigen Form und in ein und demselben Wickelprozess zwei Zigarren zu erhalten, was eine grosse Zeitersparnis bedeu tet, da der Zeitaufwand für den Vorgang des Auseinanderschneidens im Verhältnis zu der für das Einspinnen des Wickels erforderlichen Zeit ein minimaler ist.
Die konisch zulaufende Gestalt des Wickels kann dabei beliebig gehalten werden, sei es, dass man letzteren gleich von der Mitte weg oder erst ein Stück von der Mitte entfernt sich beidseitig verjüngen lässt. Ferner kann man dem konisch verlaufenden Teil die ver schiedensten Formen geben, beispielsweise derart, dass ein Längsschnitt durch denselben die Form -eines spitzwinkligen Dreieckes auf weist oder aber auch so, dass der Konus eine geschweifte Form besitzt.
Derin das Deckblatt eingesponnene Wickel kann vor oder nach dem Halbieren durch Pressen in eine kantige, vorzugsweise vier kantige Form gebracht werden.
