Doppelfonturige-Rundstrickmaschine.

In der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist der Er findungsgegenstand in beispielsweisen Aus führungsformen dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 einen Teilschnitt durch -eine Ma schine nach der Erfindung, Fig. 2 eine Ansicht eines zur Belieferung zweier Systeme dienenden Fadenführers, Fig. 3 eine Ansicht eines zweisystemigen Zylinderschlosses, Fig.4 eine Aufsicht auf das Zylinder schloss nach Fig. 3, Fig.5 eine Seitenansicht der Zylinder nadeln;
Double-contour circular knitting machine. Double-contour circular knitting machines for the production of goods with crossed stitches, so-called interlock goods, are known to see. In such machines he follows the production of the goods through several systems distributed around the circumference of the machine, each of which two spatially separated cylinder and rib systems form a work station and a row of stitches.
Attempts have already been made to increase the low production capacity of these machines by increasing the number of revolutions of the machine, but could not achieve satisfactory results because the size of the number of revolutions is limited by the permissible working speed of the system parts and the nature of the yarn to be processed and any increase in the number of revolutions of the machine beyond this limit affects the properties of the goods. With an increase in the machine speed, there was an increase in the production of goods
not achievable on interlock machines.
The present invention now has the purpose of creating an interlock circular knitting machine which, with the same diameter and without increasing the number of revolutions, is greatly increased. Has performance capability. For this purpose, the machine is designed according to the invention in such a way that the ratio, the number of its systems to the machine diameter in English. Inches is greater than 75%.
It has been found that in the interlock circular knitting machines be known type, the ratio of the system number to the machine duration in English. Inches is consistently kept below 75%, as can be seen in the table below.

<tb> 24 '<SEP> 16 <SEP> 67
<tb> 26 '<SEP> 16 <SEP> 62
<tb> 28 '<SEP> 16 <SEP> 57 This low ratio between the number of systems and the machine diameter in the interlock circular knitting machines is primarily the reason for their low performance, as the degree of delivery of the machine depends on the number of people working on it Systems depends.
The increase in the number of systems proposed in accordance with the invention above the previously usual ratio to the machine diameter must therefore bring about a very substantial increase in the performance of the machine, which cannot even come close to being achieved by simply increasing the speed of the known designs . For example, doubling the number of systems, which results in a ratio of 143% between the number of systems and the machine diameter for a machine with a 14 'diameter and previously 10 systems with now 20 systems, would also double the machine output at the same speed.
The increase in the ratio between the number of systems and the machine diameter in the machines forming the subject of the invention can be achieved in various ways. The lock channels of the systems could thus be shortened in order to enable the individual locks to be brought closer together. This results in an increase in the steepness of the needle guides, but this can easily be kept within the limits that are usual for circular knitting machines and required for proper operation of the needles.
On the other hand, the systems could also be pulled together in groups without or with a shortening of the part of the lock channel which is determined for each system. Another possibility is the arrangement of the <B> S </B> \ lock parts of several systems on top of each other, whereby the lock channels can also be shortened.
It has proven to be particularly expedient to equip the cylinder locks with several needle guide channels arranged one above the other and the dial locks with several needle guide channels lying one behind the other in the radial direction, which are shortened and offset with their tips to one another.
In all cases, the systems are advantageously installed in such a way that they can be removed from the machine one by one in order to facilitate access to the locks and cylinders. In addition to the above-mentioned increase in machine performance, their tight consolidation also has the technical advantage that, if necessary, a common thread guide can be provided to supply two systems that work together and generate a row of stitches, which also simplifies the construction of the machine becomes.
In the accompanying drawings, the subject matter of the invention is shown in exemplary embodiments, namely: Fig. 1 is a partial section through a machine according to the invention, Fig. 2 is a view of a thread guide serving to supply two systems, Fig. 3 is a view a two-system cylinder lock, FIG. 4 a plan view of the cylinder lock according to FIG. 3, FIG. 5 a side view of the cylinder needles;
6 shows a top view of a two-part dial lock, FIG. 7 shows a side view of the dial lock needles, FIGS. 8 and 9 show a further embodiment.
In the interlock circular knitting machine according to Fig. 1, the cylinder lock 22 is detachably attached with the help of the screws 23 on the lock ring 28, while the needle cylinder 29 with the drive ring gear 30, which is mounted in the ring 32, is in a fixed Ver connection. The ring gear 30 is firmly connected to the gear 33, which transmits the drive to the shaft 38 via the hub 34, the shaft 35 and the gear transmission 36, 37.
The dial 31 ', onto which the dial 31 is screwed, sits firmly on the shaft 38 so that: see the dial 31 at the same time as the ring 3'! turns. The disk 39 carrying the dial lock 8 is prevented from rotating by a finger 40, which rests against the fixed support 41 of the machine.
The cylinder lock 22 shown in Fig. 3 and 4 has a two-system design and is equipped with needle guide channels whose steepness exceeds that of the lock channels provided in the known interlock circular knitting machines, but, as the drawing shows, is still within the limits that the have normal channels in circular knitting machines.
The resulting shortening of the channels makes it possible to reduce the space requirement of the individual system in such a way that, in the manner proposed according to the invention, a far larger number of systems can be attached to the machine circumference than was previously possible.
The cylinder lock parts I1-19 are attached to the lock shell 22 and form two channels, in the top of which the shorter Zy relief needles 10 and in the bottom of which the longer cylinder needles 9 (Fig. 5) are guided with their feet. The needles 9 and 10 are embedded in the needle cylinder 29. Their depth can be changed by adjusting the lock parts 11 and 16 with the help of the bolts 20 and 21.
The dial lock 8 according to FIG. 6 is designed in a manner similar to that of the cylinder lock 22 with two systems and, like this, is equipped with adjustable ball parts. Its lock parts also form two channels 26 and 27, namely channel 6 for guiding the long dial needles and channel 27 for guiding the short dial needles 24.
To supply the two systems that work together, the thread guide presented in FIG. 2 can be used, the thread or tongue plate 1 of which is equipped with a feed opening for each of the systems and is attached to a bracket 2 with the aid of the screw 3. The lugs 2 are in turn fixed on the base plates of the individual dial locks 8. The recess 4 of the tongue plate 1 enables it to be raised or lowered, while the recess 5 forms the free space for the needles to work and for the old goods to be pushed open.
The path of the needle tongues resulting from the work of the needles 9 and 10 is indicated in FIG. 2, namely the dashed light shows. Line 6 the course of the tongues of the short needles, .the dashed line 7 the course of the tongues of the long needles 9 of the cylinder lock. Corresponding curves would be for the movement of the dial lock needles 24 and 25, so that the needles 10 and 24 respectively. 9 and 25 come into action one after the other to form a stitch.
The cylinder and rib locks could also be designed so that their needles are not controlled by different channels, but by feet of different heights.
For this purpose, one could, for example, unite the two lock part halves 30 arranged one above the other in the cylinder lock according to FIG. 3 in the manner shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 to form a common channel, and the lock part half which lift the needles to fetch the thread, divide them.
The needles with the low set feet 29 would be controlled by the inner lock part half 28 closest to the cylinder and the needles with the higher set feet 31 would be controlled by the outer lock part half 30. In order to enable the needles to be moved, whoever the feet 32 of the needles provided with the feet 29: then again particularly controls ge. The dial lock is designed in a similar way.
