Sur le dessin: La fig. 1 est une vue de face schématique -de l'appareil; La fig. 2 est une vue -de côté du même appareil; La fig: 3 montre la commande, par les chaînes des dispositifs actionnant le châssis, les contacts d'allumages et d'extinction -des deux projecteurs; La fig. 4 est une vue en plan du châssis 7;
Les fiâ. 5 et 6 montrent les positions des dispositifs -de commande des interrupteurs lors de la descente du châssis et lors -de sa montée; La fig. 7 est une élévation schématique d'nn détail d'exécution;
Apparatus for projecting images or advertising texts. Apparatuses exist for the presentation of advertisements comprising a box at the top of which is a screen, on which the announcements provided by a projection device are transferred to a given scale by means of a mirror. , the focusing of the image to be projected being done using a set of movable lenses with respect to the projection apparatus. There are also other devices of the same nature, in which the projector moves relative to the mirror.
The present invention a. for object an apparatus of this kind, in which the image is formed by a screen by reflection on a mirror of the rays projected by a projector situated at the lower part: of a box containing the assembly, characterized in that 'it comprises in combination a projector called the main projector, in front of which move the images or texts carried by a plate holder, which projector is capable of moving relative to the mirror, forming on the latter and therefore on the screen showing more or less large images, and which only lights up during part of its travel, thus allowing the replacement of the announcement by a new announcement,
and another fixed projector, said auxiliary projector, projecting onto the screen again by means of the mirror another set of announcements only during the time during which the main projector is off.
In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the main projector is mounted on a ch @: ssis, which moves following the movement of a chain rotating on drums fixed to the upper part, and at the lower part of the box containing the assembly, projectors, screen, mirrors, the frame itself moving in guides provided for this purpose in a plane parallel to that of the screen.
As for the constant focusing of the image on the screen, during the downward movement of the main projector on, it can be obtained by means of a cam acting on suitable references controlling the end lens. or projector lens. A pawl acting on a finger allows the substitution at given time intervals, corresponding to the raising and then lowering of the projector, from one shot to another, these different shots being carried on an appropriate guide.
The cli ches are replaced during the idle time, that is to say the time during which the main projector lamp is off and which corresponds to the time required for the main projector to rise upwards. The appliance before it goes down again, the lighting of the said main projector being only on while it is coming down.
The freeze projector is itself mounted in any suitable manner in the apparatus, at any suitable location.
The accompanying drawings represent, schematically, and by way of example, an embodiment of the present invention.
In the drawing: FIG. 1 is a schematic front view of the apparatus; Fig. 2 is a side view of the same device; FIG: 3 shows the control, by the chains of the devices actuating the chassis, the ignition and extinction contacts of the two projectors; Fig. 4 is a plan view of the frame 7;
The fiâ. 5 and 6 show the positions of the switch control devices during the descent of the frame and during its ascent; Fig. 7 is a schematic elevation of an execution detail;
Fig. 8 a corresponding plan view. In a cabinet 1 is provided at the upper part a mirror 3, inclined, intended for the reflection on the screen 2-images projected by the projector 4, as well as for the reflection of the images projected by an auxiliary projector 5. Front the projector 4 moves a click-holder strip 6.
The projector 4 is mounted in a movable frame 7 driven by a chain 8, which passes over a set of rollers r, r '.
The stroke of the frame 7 allows it to move from the position shown in FIG. 1 and 2 up to a dimension corresponding to that of the roller r; to allow movement of the frame without deformation of the latter, it is wedged in guides 13.
In front of the projector 4 moves a band 6, on which are carried the images to be projected on the mirror 3, and thereby, by reflection, on the screen 2. This bandA is driven by a ratchet wheel 9 combined with the finger 10 freezes, with a movement such as a cliché only replaces another by the action of the ratchet wheel 9, only for a complete revolution of the frame 7 carrying the projector 4, so called movement complete revolution of said frame, its movement of ascent to level r and its return to the position shown in the figures. The aforementioned ratchet can be replaced by a male cross or a ratchet, etc.
An electric motor 14 with speed reducer is used to drive by a set of wheels 15, 16 - of the chain 8. The objective - of the lens l is further connected, by a set of the articulated viers 11, to a cam 12 ensuring its displacement -so that, whatever the position * of the projector 4 relative to the mirror 3, the focusing on the screen 2 of the image projected by the latter is achieved.
As for the lighting of the screen 2 by the projector 5, it is only ensured during the upstroke of the projector 4 and of its frame 7, and is therefore during the ascent of the frame 7 and of the projector 4, that the screen 2 is not illuminated by the latter.
During this time, it is illuminated by the other projector 5 placed inside the cabinet 1, at any suitable place, in a fixed manner, said projector 5 being able to receive one or more images to be projected successively, such as advertisements, drawings. kaleidoscopic.
The operation of the device will be as follows: The electric motor 14 with speed reducer being started, the frame 7 carrying the headlight 4 moves and follows the movement of the chain 8. When the frame 7 is in its upper position , that is to say at the dimension r ', the projector lamp 4 comes on, and the image carried by the band 6 is projected on the mirror and reflected on the screen 2, which takes place during the whole time during which the frame 7 descends to its initial position, that is to say that shown in the figures.
The image is constantly in focus, but grows as the frame moves downward, given the set of levers II controlling the lens 1 with the cam 13.
As soon as the frame has returned to its initial position, the ratchet wheel 9 cooperates with the finger 10, and by the revolution of a quarter of a turn of the said ratchet wheel, a new image replaces the one previously produced. pier.
As soon as the frame is raised again to its upper position, the projector lamp 4, which was extinguished when the frame 7 had passed through the position shown in the figures, turns on again and so on.
A set of switches, not shown, allowing the projector 4 -to illuminate only during its return travel to its initial position, provides lighting, during the ascent of the frame 7, of the projector 5, and thereby the projection onto the mirror 3 and the screen 2. of advertisements passing in front of said projector 5, the latter automatically turning off as soon as the projector 4. must be turned on again.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a certain number of devices and details are further provided as follows: The frame 7, also seen in position 7 ', shown in dotted lines in FIG. 3, is provided with a plate 17, on which the finger 18 carried by the chain 8 comes to bear, -describing a certain number of loops and rotating around the pinions 19, 20, 21 and 22, the latter being ordered by an electric motor 23, with reduction gear and speed regulator.
Preferably, the lug 18 is an extension of a chain link pin 8. It can therefore be clearly seen that, during its journey, it can only move the frame 7 in the course between the rollers 20 and the horizontal tangent plane .superior to pi gnon 19, reduced by the thickness of the frame and it is during this journey that it can act on the plate 17 and push the frame 7 upwards.
As it continues its course by rotating around the rollers 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23, it first abuts against the finger 25, then against the finger 26, each of which is connected by a rod 27, 28 to the mercury switches 30, 31. The first mercury switch pivots about an axis 32 and the second about an axis 33; the movement of the switch 31 is provided by the articulations 34 and 35, the articulation 34 forming the knee.
Switch 30 is connected to the mobile projector, and switch 31 to the fixed projector. When the finger 18 abuts on the er got 25 first and then on the lug 26, it tilts the latter, then abuts on the plate 17 and the frame 7 is driven to the position shown in 7 ', in point tilée.
The set of parts 25, 26, 27, 28, .30 and 31 which are in the position of FIG. 5, goes to the position of fig. 6, the switch 31 rocking under the action of the roller 36, on which the ramp 37 acts and the switch 30 being replaced under the action of a finger carried by the rod 27, which bears on the frame frame 7.
In fig. 4, we see the frame 7 comprising two sets of rollers 38, between which pass the guides 13, the counterweight 39 acting through a set -of pou lies 40, 41 (Fig. 3) on the chassis of which it balances approximately the weight, the weight of the chassis being very slightly higher than that of the counterweight 39.
. The adjustment of the focusing on the screen 2, during the descent of the projector 4, is ensured by the lens 1 carried by a fork 42, terminated by two branches 43, sliding on the rods 44.. _ The set of levers 11 shown in fig. 2 is seen embodied by the two arms 45 and 46, integral with an axis 47, the lever 46 carrying a wheel 48 running on the cam 12, the arm of the lever 45 being articulated on the branches 42 and 43.
Oven that the images can move successively in front of the lens, they are mounted on a roller 50 integral with an axis 51, itself integral with a toothed pinion 52, which meshes with another pinion 53, subjected to the 'action of the articulated lever 54, carrying a caster 55 running on the cam 56, said cam being shaped such that for each stroke, of the frame up and down and back, or, if preferred, for a complete revolution with finger 1.8, an image follows the previous one. For this purpose, the lever 54 carries a ratchet wheel 57 integral with the toothed wheel 53.
If one properly establishes the ratio of gears 53 and 52, it is clear that one can, for a certain rotation 'of the ratchet wheel 57, produce an angular displacement , of the drum 50 making it possible to replace one image with the next.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 7 and 8, there is provided a mechanical control in the service of the movements of the lens and of the change of images of the projection apparatus, these movements being carried out by means of a set of levers, cams and. of pinions cooperating with an articulated parallelogram. The problem consists essentially of moving the objective 0 vertically with respect to the band of images to be projected A while ensuring the jerky advancement of the various images. This result is obtained .de as follows: the objëetif 0 -is carried by a collar 58 integral with an arm 59 that terminates an eye 60 which slides on a vertical support 61.
The vertical displacement of the objective is ensured by a connecting rod 62 articulated, on the one hand, on a boss 63 of the eye 60 and, on the other hand, on a lever 64 oscillating around the axis of the sleeve. 65.
The other end of this lever rests via a ga let 66 on a cam 67 including * .le prùfil. will have been studied to obtain the desired displacement of the lever 64 and, therefore, of the objective; this cam being -caled on a shaft 68, the dragging of which is ensured in the following manner: The rear end of the shaft 68 carries a pinion 69 which meshes with a pin 70 wedged on the same axis as the pinion 71 , the teeth of which take place on a mesh mesh 72 cut in or attached to the external face of tube B containing the counterweight.
The other end of the shaft 68 carries a pinion 73 which meshes simultaneously with two toothed wheels 74, 75, the rotation of which is ensured by the unwinding of the pinion 71 on the rack '72. On the axles. Of the wheels 74, 75 are respectively wedged the counterweight masses 76, 77, which balance the displacements of the parallelogram, on which is articulated at 78 and 79 a deformable parallelogram, constantly pushed upwards by a spring 80 or a similar device. and the small free end of which carries a cross member 81 on which protrude two fingers 82 which engage in the perforation provided on the plate-holder strip A.
This band moves in a corridor C and is immobilized during the withdrawal of the fingers 82 by a lock 83 carried by an elastic blade 84 fixed to the corridor.
It can be seen that the rotational movement of the shaft 68 is transformed by the device described above into a jerky movement of advance of the plate-holder strip, the latter being gripped by the fingers 82, advanced by the width. of an image, then held in place by the lowering of the lock 83 during the release of the fingers 82 and the free return of the parallelogram; the latter, returned to its starting point, rises again, releases the latch 83 by engaging in the notches of the plate holder strip, and the cycle is repeated in this way continuously.
At the same time, a regular movement takes place: lowering and raising of the objective 0 which, in combination with the corresponding movement of the entire projector, produces the effect -already -, exposed.
