Boîte de montre. L'objet de la présente invention est une boîte de montre formée d'au moins deux parties reliées entre elles par une charnière. Cette boîte est caractérisée en ce que cette charnière est formée par un axe traversant des paliers percés dans chacune des deux parties à réunir.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention.
Les fig. 1 à 5 concernent la première forme d'exécution; la fig. 1 en est un plan et la fig. 2 une élévation; les fig. 3 et 4 montrent des parties séparées, et la fig. 5 est une coupe par V-V de fig. 1.
Les fig. 6 et 7 se rapportent à la seconde forme d'exécution; la fig. 6 en est une éléva tion partie en coupe, tandis que la fig. 7 montre un détail en perspective. La fig. 8 se rapporte à une variante d'un détail.
La boîte représentée aux fig. 1 à 5 est composée de trois parties, une lunette 1, un porte-cage 2 et un fond-carrure 3, monté à charnière sur le porte-cage. Cette charnière est constituée par un axe 4 qui traverse un canal 4A percé dans le porte-cage et deux trous 4b percés dans les bords du fond. Ou évite ainsi toute soudure dans la fabrication de la charnière. Une rainure 2a, pratiquée sur la périphérie du porte-cage reçoit l'arête 3., du fond, lorsque celui-ci tourne.
Le lunette 1, en métal embouti, présente quatre cornes creuses 5, qui sont ouvertes vers le bas et qui supportent les barrettes 6, formant, avec les cornes, des anses pour le bracelet. Cette lunette est fixée au porte-cage 2, à l'aide de deux vis 7.
Le porte-cage possède une ouverture ronde 8 pour l'emboîtage d'un mouvement de montre rond et présente également quatre cornes 9 qui viennent se loger dans les cornes creuses de la lunette pour renforcer ces dernières. Les barrettes 6 rie s'engagent cependant pas dans les cornes 9 du porte- cage, ces dernières présentant une petite rainure 10 pour laisser passer librement les barrettes. Le fond 3 présente, sur son bord 11, un cran qui s'engage dans une rainure 12 du porte-cage.
Dans la forme d'exécution des fi-. 6 et 7, 13 est le fond-carrure et 14 la lunette présentant une saillie 15 dirigée vers le bas et destinée à pénétrer dans un logement correspondant 16 pratiqué sur un des côtés du fond; ce côté est percé d'un canal 17 et la saillie 15 de la lunette est percée d'un canal 18; 19 est un axe de charnière destiné à pénétrer dans les canaux 17 et 18, de façon à relier<B>lé</B> fond et la lunette; un porte-cage 20 est soudé en 21 dans le fond et présente une ouverture ronde 22 destinée à recevoir un mouvement rond.
Le fond 13 pourra se fabriquer, comme d'habitude, à l'étampe, en faisant le côté destiné à recevoir l'axe 19 plus large que les autres; après l'étampage, on découpera le logement 16, à la fraise par exemple, pour la lunette, on pourra pra tiquer de même, c'est-à-dire qu'on la découpera à l'étampe en faisant le côté destiné à rece voir l'axe 19 plus large que les autres, après quoi, on attaquera les deux bouts de ce côté à la fraise, de façon à former la saillie 15.
Dans la variante de fig. 8, la lunette est formée d'une enveloppe 25 et d'une pièce rapportée 23 fixée le long d'un côté de 26; la pièce 23 porte une saillie 24 destinée à être percée longitudinalement et à pénétrer dans le longement 16.

The box shown in Figs. 1 to 5 is composed of three parts, a bezel 1, a cage holder 2 and a caseback 3, hinged on the cage holder. This hinge consists of a pin 4 which passes through a channel 4A drilled in the cage holder and two holes 4b drilled in the edges of the bottom. Or thus avoids any welding in the manufacture of the hinge. A groove 2a, made on the periphery of the cage holder, receives the edge 3, from the bottom, when the latter turns.
The bezel 1, made of stamped metal, has four hollow horns 5, which are open downwards and which support the bars 6, forming, with the horns, handles for the bracelet. This bezel is attached to the cage holder 2, using two screws 7.
The cage holder has a round opening 8 for casing a round watch movement and also has four lugs 9 which are housed in the hollow lugs of the bezel to reinforce the latter. The bars 6 rie however do not engage in the horns 9 of the cage holder, the latter having a small groove 10 to allow the bars to pass freely. The bottom 3 has, on its edge 11, a notch which engages in a groove 12 of the cage holder.
In the embodiment of the fi-. 6 and 7, 13 is the caseback and 14 is the bezel having a projection 15 directed downwards and intended to penetrate into a corresponding housing 16 made on one of the sides of the back cover; this side is pierced with a channel 17 and the projection 15 of the bezel is pierced with a channel 18; 19 is a hinge pin intended to penetrate into the channels 17 and 18, so as to connect <B> the </B> bottom and the bezel; a cage holder 20 is welded at 21 in the bottom and has a round opening 22 intended to receive a round movement.
The bottom 13 can be made, as usual, with a stamp, by making the side intended to receive the axis 19 wider than the others; after stamping, we will cut the housing 16, for example with a milling cutter, for the bezel, we can practice in the same way, that is to say we will cut it with a stamp by making the side intended for receive the axis 19 wider than the others, after which, we will attack the two ends of this side with a milling cutter, so as to form the projection 15.
In the variant of fig. 8, the bezel is formed of a casing 25 and an insert 23 fixed along one side of 26; part 23 carries a projection 24 intended to be drilled longitudinally and to penetrate into the length 16.
