Separator with attached electric motor. Separators with a built-in electric motor, specifically for spinning milk, must have a high level of operational reliability so that no malfunctions occur during the delivery time of the milk. In addition to careful manufacture, this operational reliability makes it a condition that all parts are subject to malfunctions. can be changed easily and in a very short time. Up to now, the individual electric drive was not yet included in: this easy interchangeability. You either had to replace the whole engine or laboriously remove individual parts from it.
The spare parts required for this could hardly be kept in stock because of their size and cost, and a specialist was required for repairs.
For the purpose of making the individual parts of the motor, i.e. mainly the winding package of the stator and the rotor, through their shape and fastening into simple spare parts to be kept in stock, which can be exchanged just as easily as the other parts of the separator and also favor a repair on the spot without replacement, the invention consists in
that in the case of the separator according to the present invention, the support plane of the clamping kaetendeckels is arranged parallel to the support plane of the motor housing cover and: the rotor on the shaft: the motor is mounted on a conical fitting surface so that it can be pulled off.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example, by a perpendicular right cross-section.
The transverse shaft 8 carrying the worm wheel 2 is mounted in the separator 1. The motor housing 4 forms with: the frame 1 a single casting. In the motor housing 4, the winding package 5 of the stator is built. The motor housing is closed off by a cover 6 in which a cooling air duct 7 is also provided. The terminal box B is located under the motor. The base plate of the.
Terminal box: 8 is perpendicular to the motor axis. The connecting wires between the stator winding and the terminal box are passed through openings 10 which are cut out in the joint between the cover and the housing in a closing wall between the motor housing and the terminal box. As shown, the lead wires can be embedded in a special insulating sleeve.
This embodiment ensures that the winding package 5 can be pulled out to the front after the cover has been removed, loosening a possible fastening tube 11 and loosening the terminal screws 12 without any wires being pulled through or bent need to become. The wires can even have an unchangeable position, so that the clamping shoes of the same always match the clamping screws in the terminal box.
The motor cover 6 and the cover of the terminal box 13 consist of one piece, so that after removing the cover 6, the entire motor and terminal box is exposed. The breakthrough 10 can also be placed entirely in the housing 4 or entirely in the cover 6. Under certain circumstances, the partition between the motor housing and the terminal box can also be omitted, or the space in which the terminals are accommodated can form a single space with the correspondingly expanded motor housing.
The rotor 14 is pushed onto a conical fitting surface of the shaft 3 and is clamped by a screw nut 15. This nut 15 has a rim 16, which is behind an edge 17, des. Rotor. engages in such a way that when the nut is loosened, the rotor is pulled out immediately.
With this arrangement, the otherwise difficult-to-access parts 5 and 14 of the Mo sector have become easily and quickly replaceable spare parts that give the built-in electric motor a high level of operational reliability in the cheapest way when separating.
With motors in which the fan 18 is not present or is located on the opposite side of the motor, the .Stature, the winding of which is easily damaged, can be pulled out of the shaft 3 without loosening the rotor 14 .
After removing the cover 6 and Her exception of the cantilevered rotor 14 you can clean the surface of the entire motor housing. If you also take out the stand package 5, the cleaning can be completed in a very short time. With this possibility of easy cleaning, you are able to use motors drawn through by cooling air, which are smaller and cheaper than closed and surface-cooled motors and whose spare parts are correspondingly smaller and cheaper and easier to transport , are.
