Spurlichtprojektor an Kraftfahrzeugen.
also bogenförmig projiziert werden.
Track light projector on motor vehicles. The many lighting devices, such as headlights, curve and viewfinder lamps for automobiles, motorcycles, etc., are still in use today in the latter case means the vehicle width.
This disadvantage has a particularly negative effect at car crossings, ancestors, in curves, on narrow streets and paths, entrances to parking lots or garages in the most unfavorable sense, since the distances involved have to be assessed emotionally with the equipment known today, which means that many some very serious accidents were caused.
As an example, two automobiles stumble across an Alpine road at dusk or at night. An inaccurate assessment of the part of the road intended for the driver can have the most serious consequences. The present subject matter of the invention completely eliminates this major deficiency in driving cars and motorcycles with a sidecar, in that the estimated scanning no longer has to occur in the aforementioned cases. According to the invention, using an optical lens and an electric incandescent body, at least one narrow and widely visible light strip lying in the extension of the line of one outer vehicle edge is projected onto the roadway.
Military automobiles that carry out night column journeys without lighting can do their duty with the help of track lights without any danger and fully covered. In city traffic on narrow streets that are often blocked laterally by other vehicles, the drivers of car omnibuses will be able to tell, without the risk of colliding, whether the vehicle width is illuminated and whether the passage is possible or not. When entering parking lots, the lane light will ensure that the cars can be positioned closer together with ease and absolute safety.
For vehicles with a large wheelbase, such as car buses, post automobiles or trucks, the lane light can be directed precisely onto the lane of the rear wheels by means of light strips that are further apart.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment example. It shows: FIG. 1 side view of the track light projector, FIG. 2 front view of the same, FIG. 3 side view of the luminous element with two filaments under 900 , FIG. 4 front view of the same, FIG. 5 side view of two festoon lamps FIG. 6 is a front view of the same, FIG. 7 is a side view of an automobile with a mounted track light projector,
FIG. 8 is a front view of the same, FIG. 9 is a plan view of an automobile with the lane light projector in operation and the projected lane light strips.
The inside matt and black lacquered lamp housing 1 carries in the light outlet opening 2 a biconvex lens 3 with approximately 8 diopters, which projects the filament 5 glowing in the lamp 4 in their straight line shape onto the street. The lamp 4, which is gas-filled or evacuated, is equipped with two incandescent filaments 5 stretched in a straight line and standing below one another at 900 . This lamp, which is not yet on the market today, can also be replaced by two individual ones Lamps in the form of a festoon, which also have to be stored in their longitudinal axis at an angle of 90 to each other (Fix. 5 and 6).
Both types of lamp systems are installed in the lamp housing in such a way that the filaments are at 90 to the longitudinal nose of the lamp housing, i.e. parallel to the biconvex lens and with the vertical axis under 45 in the form of the Roman numeral V.
On the vehicle, the lamp 1 is mounted between the headlights 7 exactly in the longitudinal axis of the car by means of a suitable holder. The lamp holder 8 is designed in such a way that it allows the lamp to be tilted in its axis, and a rotatable, vertical bolt carrying the lamp is also provided in it.
Fig. 9 illustrates the image of the headlights in operation and the track light projector. The headlights are set to close-up light (dimmed) (light cone 9). The light strips 10 and 11, which are directed into the extension of the outer fender edges, are illuminated by the beams 12 and 13 of the track light lamp 1 in this way the road projects that the ends of the light trail closer to the car begin about 4-5 m in front of the car, so that they are easily visible from the driver's seat, over the bonnet, and without effort.
The effect of the track light projector can be increased by the fact that it is arranged to be rotatable and the rotational movement is transmitted from organs of the wheel control and correspondingly with them. The light strips, which can be swiveled synchronously with the front wheels, are particularly advantageous when driving around bends, as they run in front of the vehicle in the curved path in the lateral direction. If the track light projector is combined with a different purpose lamp, for example with the fender lamps or the so-called 111: arkierungslichtern, incandescent elements are used whose linearly stretched filaments are approximately parallel to each other and approximately perpendicular to the road.
The track light projector can also be mounted at the rear end of the vehicle to make it easier to reverse. A further increased effect of the track light projector can be achieved in that an optical system is attached to the transverse rod or the fenders on which it is rotatably mounted and arranged in front of the lens of the projector Wheel control coupled track lamp corrects the light strips that normally run straight forward in such a way that they are curved according to the deflection of the wheel control and thus the curve to be driven.
