Description
Process for the preparation of a mixture of sulfuric acid derivatives of organic compounds. The main patent no. 165818 relates to a process for the preparation of a soap-like sulfuric acid derivative of an organic compound, according to which a reactive oxyfatty acid ester alkylated on oxygen, namely (oxy-ethoxy) -acetic- @ acid- dodecyl ester, treated with sulfonating agents.
It has been found that in the process you can also use the mixture of the esters of phenoxyacetic acid and the reduction of palm kernel and / or. Pett alcohol mixture obtained from coconut fats can go out.
Here, too, the sulfonation can be carried out with strong sulfuric acid, SO2-containing sulfuric acid, SO2 or its addition products with organic compounds, chlorosulfonic acid and the like, it being possible to work in the presence of solvents, diluents or dehydrating agents.
Example: In 1000 parts by weight of concentrated sulfuric acid, 300 parts by weight of a mixture of the esters of phenoxyacetic acid and the mixture of higher fatty alcohols, as it. By reduction of palm kernel oil or . Coconut oil is obtained, registered. The reaction is continued until a sample taken is clearly soluble in water. The homogeneous reaction mass is then poured onto ice.
The new sulfonic acid mixture can be isolated by the usual methods, for example by looking.
In its pure state, the sodium salt forms a white powder which dissolves in water; the solutions have a high foaming power and good wetting, washing and emulsifying properties. They are to a large extent resistant to lime, Epsom salt, table salt and acid.
